as much as i like Bale in movies like the machinist and american psycho,in batman he's really mediocre and over acting...the dark knight wouldn't have been what it is without Heath's epic interpretation of Joker

I don't think Ledger stole the movie at all. I was just as interested in Gary Oldman & Aaron Ekhart's characters, in fact even more than the Joker to be honest. The Joker was an easy character to play, Jim Gordon & Harvey Dent were more complex.

It's so sad that Ledger has gone though and it appears he never saw the finished film. He would have been a brilliant filmaker as well as being a good actor.

Can you believe it's almost a year since Ledger died? This year's gone soooo quickly.

I agree. In absolute all-honesty (I know people will flame me for this but I don't care) I was not really farmiliar with Heath Ledger until I saw this movie. The only other movie I had seen with Heath Ledger in it was A Knight's tale to which I was not impressed.

If you don't care, you don't. Again, let's be honest here, nobody really cares that much when a "normal person" dies, why should it be different to an actor?

jesus bale scares me. I really really love his movies, i think he is fucking very intelligent, very interesting guy and he is one of the very few actors who act nowadays, but he does look like bateman sometimes, his eyes are sometimes very cold it scares the shit out of me, would have loved to see bale perhaps play a character like the joker one day.

yeah i saw that movie when i was very young, knew even then it was great. watched it again bout a year ago when bale started to get noticed more. even playing a young boy he is better than anyone else in that movie even malkovitch of however ya spell his name :)
