man I had a beeper too!!! But me and most of my friends had the ones that u can type in messages with the keys on the phone with letters... I guess it was a text message but back in the 90's babyyyyy lol my dad used to be a manager for motorola at that time... man, I feel old!!!!! those days... Not sure if this has been said before, but Fantasy's not really as creative as you seem to think he is. Boxer/oov give him like all of his strategies.

I would have to doubt you on that one, unless you are a good personal friend of fantasy since that's a purely speculative statement. however, if it were the case, unorthodox may be a better word to describe his play. either way, it wasn't a statement that really deserved to be picked apart since it was more of an observation of what was going on at the time.

Favorite counter to nukes on ICCUP as Zerg- Overlords + Queen, spawn broodling before the nuke is fully launched. Shame I don't have nearly high enough APM to pull it off unless I know EXACTLY where the nuke is going. Lol.

The funny thing was it was 143 for I love you, and 1432 for I love you too, even though the "too" part was also 3 letters, so it not only coded, but also broke the code by going to a number that didn't make sense.

"1432" = I love you too, it should have been

"1433".

Oh well.

I think it's interesting that ocular vision was upgraded before cloaking.  nukes are rare but ranged nukes are even more rare, which is why hoejja was fooled into hunting for the cloaked ghost. (I don't think it ever was cloaked)

It was cloaked for the first one and left cloaked. It ran out or was turned off before the second one. Didn't really matter either way without mutas or drop.

I had a beeper too. One of my best friends used to page me with his number and 911 EVERY time. The point of adding 911 to your page was to say, "this is an emergency, call me back NOW." But motherfucker, it was never an emergency. He used to page me to ask about things like how to do a finishing move in Mortal Kombat.

And you know, I could understand that SOMEWHAT if he was at the arcade and like, needed to kick some kid's ass in MK. But he was at home.

I think it's worth noting that it's not necessarily Fantasy being inventive because he's like Boxer and Oov's marionette in alot of senses, I mean the big inventive parts like the 'Fantasy build' and the 2 rax cheese in the PL finals were Oov's and Boxer's ideas respectively.

It's great someone with enough skill is carrying on the tradition of awesome inventiveness though.

Ya, it wouldn't surprise me if boxer was feeding fantasy ideas on how he can exploit maps and use peculiar strategies to throw his opponents off guard.

I bet boxer came to him and told him that he could use a ghost in that exact spot without getting attacked. Maybe not, but definitely a possibility!
