  • Thanks for posting and sharing this informative video. You could have opened the pressure release valve enough to bleed it out until you got either water or coolant flowing out and now you have purged the system and you won't hear the bubble anymore on start up.

  • if Ray Romano was Australian

  • He even says "in Australia" @ around 1:55

  • Sounds like an Australian accent

  • What kind of fucking accent is that? LMAO, You sound like you got ping pong balls in ya mouth!

  • @XConYoungBlood LMAO, Aussie :P

  • @HDXFH You sound like a drunk European bloke with pool table balls in ya fucking mouth, cue ball included.

  • @XConYoungBlood Comments likeyours make youtube worth watching. Thanks for the 10 minute laugh

  • @AugendesAbgrunds I still aint figured out what kinda accent this fella has. He sound like he eating a 5 course meal while making this video.

  • sorry i still don't know what the hell you was doing.thank you so lot .

  • this looks like a great video.. hopefully they can do one in English some day

  • good way to make a 3min max video into a boring 10:29sec video

  • I HAVE A 2005 CHEVY iMPALA 3400 v-6 MESSAGE HOT COOLANT. I've replaced Radiator, water pump, thermostat. hoses. ran radiator flush to clear system. Also replaced sensor. still not satisfied.

  • @roel2055 you may need to bleed the system and get the air out.

  • @roel2055 Check the cooling fan motor. You can use alligator clips on the cooling fan motor connector and see if applying 12 volts to it to see if the fan runs or not. If the fan does not run replace the electric motor. If it does run you might have to leave the cap open and let it warm up to expel bubbles.

Also a fair warning the 3100 and 3400 engines have an intake gasket that can leak.

Replace them with a felpro metal and rubber versions which will cost $85 for those with other seals.

  • I always put antifreeze in the radiator ,, 50/50 mix, no straight water.

  • @roel2055 Me too, But this was not long serviced at the time, as there was plenty of antifreeze in the mix :)

  • haha gotta hate commodore cooling systems

  • ello mary anne come get this buger out of me nose! I cant jane im watching the telly

  • I'm sorry I can't understand your english.

  • @TheEdgar707 Sorry, I must've been a bit off track with my speech, LOL

  • Good one mate :)

  • I think this is my problem... I have the gurgling and also gets very hot...quickly.

  • I can hardly understand a word in this video....lol Where are you from mate?

  • @fretwizard420 Australia, I should've spoke a little slower, LOL

  • MR BEAN :) no offence.

  • soon after youll notice the coolant draining before it drains empty and starts sucking air again stay near by with coolant and top up as needed otherwise youll keep going round in circles

  • your makin a mistake run engine till very warm if you have air traped ull notice your coolant resiovoir will appear to over fill due to the air forced the coolant back. keep running and use bleeder cap on hose check its hot water comming out not air steam is ok but ideally you need to see water hot water, ok then switch off engine let engine cool dont keep your eyes off the resiovoir for a second in about ten minutes time once cool youll notice air bubbles coming back to the top of resivoir,

  • getting air out of my magna is like trying to draw blood from a stone. the head is higher than the radiator so i have to take the hose off and pore water down into the head and wait till it comes out or the top of the rad then park it on a steep driveway with the rad higher to let the final bit of air out and top up the system.

    good vid!

  • Cool!, most likely air as you said, my mums vt was doing that.

As for the pws resivor, the vs has a different clip to the vt, the vt only has those two slide thingos like yours lol, but not the middle clip. The vs design is much better. Thanks for that :D

Should have been running the car while opening the bleeder valve, gets all the air out in one go, plus keep toping up the rad :D

  • @mattyvt93 I did run it & bled it, No air now, also topped it up too (After i did the vid)

I wonder if you could just stick a VS Reservoir bracket in place to hold it properly

  • @HDXFH Ahh cool :D

Hmm i shall take a look and see if i can, hope the bracket is just bolted onto something rather than welded. Ill check that later :D
