  • Sickness XD I love the Nordics.

(you get notified when someone favs a video??)

  • @TheNinjagrl101 The Nordics are great <3

    (No, I don't ;])

  • @SkadiPirate YES.YES.YEEEES!!! THEY ARRE!! lol

(Wow, you've got to be psychic or something! xD lol Just kidding.)

  • I am danish, and i understood what she sang, until i looked at the swedish lyric. o:

  • @TheVoiceFreak For a Swede it's the same. I can understand Danish if the person is speaking clearly and not too fast, but reading Danish is harder. Although, sometimes it's the other way around.

For example, the words in question could be spelled similar to Swedish, but pronounced in a way that I don't understand them.

  • Cool! :p

  • NORWAY.

  • jätte bra video!!!

  • My fave song!!

  • *singing* I am swedish~~~and i enjoy it~~~~ hug a swedish person? *have open arms*

  • @Zellafy *looks cautious first* Well, sure. :3 *hugs* Greetings from Finland btw. 8D

  • HOW MANY LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK???

  • @misspoppylol 5 :D

  • @CarmeN56LOL which ones?

  • @misspoppylol english, german, sign language (ASL), spanish... sory miss counted. But im learning swedish and russian :)

  • @CarmeN56LOL wait, you're talking about how many languages you know? i meant SkadiPirate...

but anyway, since we're on the subject; russian's my first language if you want any help :D

and haha, you know lots, HOWEVER, im learning german, french, hebrew and japanese >:D

  • *sits rocking back and forth*

    T-t-t-he G-g-roke b-balloo-n-n....

    *hides in a corner*

  • Ahahaha! Awesome vid AND Swedens face at 0.18 XD

  • yay! i got it right! :D

  • Nordics is no.1

    so nice video!

  • 0:18 LOL LOVE Denmarks faceXDDDd

  • it sounds like the person who sang swedens song! :o)

  • @missyrocker13 Surprise~, it is~ ;D (Her name is Nanne Grönvall~) :]

  • @SkadiPirate hey how long does it usually take you to complete one of these videos ? just curious xD

  • @Haleysama12 Depends on my time and mood. Some are finished in a couple of hours, other videos take waaaay longer :'D

  • It sounds like German and French combined.

  • @darkanimefreak1510 Not so wrong. A good amount of Swedish words really come from German (being a Germanic language like English) but also from French (at a certain moment Sweden wanted to get inspired by the French culture, they thought it was so cool and funny)... The only thing you did not notice is that the grammar rules follow more the English model rather than the German (at least according to me!)

  • Is this a Eurovision song? If so, whose was it?

Be surprised if its not, it certainly has that feel to it.

  • @TheYamiJK In 2005, Nanne Grönvall presented that song at Melodifestivalen but the jury rejected it and so they sent Martin Stenmarck with "Las Vegas" to the ESC~ So, no, it's not really an Eurovision song 'cause it was rejected :]

  • Is it swedish or Norwegian??

  • @AKSPLKN It's Swedish

  • that's a really good song :I

  • All these patriotic song and then you choose 'Håll om mig' for this one...

  • @Mitsaya If you don't like, make your own ;]

  • @SkadiPirate Yo, what video software do you use? And how are this aw3some at picking songs?! And Y U NO DO FOR JAPAN!?!?!?!?

    Lol

  • @TheSebastianqwertyui I use WindowsMovieMaker :]

And about Japan...I did two videos but YT deleted them. You still can watch them on my account on Dailymotion, link is in my profile ;]

  • Sorry, 1:56 photobusket, zerochan or e-shuushuu **?

  • @IamDeadButterfly I dunno...you have to try it out :'D

But NOT e-shuushuu, for sure. On e-shuushuu you will only find pictures of "cute girls" ;]

  • @SkadiPirate Oh, I thought it's error on it, shows only genderswap... Do you know why there are only girls on e-shuushuu ._.?

  • @IamDeadButterfly Hmm, it's just the general theme on e-shuushuu ^^

You know, just like other picture-sharing-website have a general Yaoi-theme ;]

  • @SkadiPirate Oh, okay, thank you)

  • out of the nordics, i like denmark and sweden best. cool video

  • I feel proud to have known this song wayyy before this video was up :D

(And I'm an American! We don't learn different languages!)

  • This is perfect!

    Kyllä tämän laitan suosikkeihini.

  • Why do everyone picture norwegians as blondes, when the majority has brown hair? Even sweden has more blondes than us. And why is none of the "nordics" wearing nordic clothes?

  • @carloscristero Because it's a stereotype~

And because of the clothes...well, I guess Mr Himaruya just took the chance to draw them the way he wants them to look like ;]

  • @carloscristero It's a European sterotype, blonde hair is the sterotypical colour for Europeans, same as brown and black hair for Asians. Hetalia is just one big sterotype. In the same way not all British people drink tea and can't cook. :)

  • @carloscristero Well, people thinks we norwegians all are blondes xD And Norways clothes is most certainly sailor looking, because there were lots of sailors from Norway :D Somenthing that most Bothers ME, is that damn fairy.

  • i can sing this in perfect swedish and i am american is that weird O.o

  • @vocaloidlov101 Nope! Ya listen to it enough times, and you can sing any song perfectly, no matter what the language.

  • ......The second I realized I recognized the song was teh second I started sing along

WHY DID YOU CHOSE A SWEDISH SONG?!

  • I JUST WANTED TO LOOK AT ALIENS!

  • I have found a most disturbing feature in myself while watching Hetalia videos. O_o If someone gets too close Finland, I hiss violently. Out loud. And I bare my teeth. O_O WTH is wrong with me? o_O

  • To the person who sent me the link to this video:

I've seen this video and sung to it more times than I watched Hetalia.

    Love, from me

  • Where sorry did you take 1:03 from *q*?

  • @IamDeadButterfly I think it's easy to find on zerochan(dot)net...try the tags "Norway, genderbender" and there it should be...if not, try Photobucket or e-shuushuu :]

  • @SkadiPirate Is it genderbender? Wow.

Ok, thanks, it hepled) a lot))

  • DenSu all the way!

  • @Yuiachan

    Hell yeah! 8"D

There's this fanfic on Fanfiction . Net called "Scandinavian Sauna" with them in - it gave me a nosebleed ;3

  • @magicalkitten1*reads fanfic*........*nosebleed* Oh, god....

  • @Yuiachan

    Whoops - sorry! Did I forget to mention it's a Denmark/America/Sweden threesome ficcy? ^_^

  • @magicalkitten1 It was quite a surprise xD

  • @Yuiachan

Pfft I can't even remember why I put down Denmark/America in the search engine! XD

  • @magicalkitten1

    o.O

    America...Danmark....and Sverige....

You gave me a nosebleed and I was only imagining it!

  • Love that you used one of the nordic languages.

I find it great, that when making a hetalia video, to use the language of which ever country is in the video.

    Ex.

    Denmark, use a danish song

    Spain, use a spanish song

& so on & so forth.

    Great video! :D

  • i dont really get the idea about sealnd being the son of sweden ad=nd finland

  • Ah I can't find this song on iTunes and I want it on my iPod so bad! :,(

  • Is this on iTunes?

  • The Nordic Union was a proposal done to the Soviet Union in secret from all the Communist parties from all the Nordic countries where they all united for one power house of a Socialist union stronger then anything on earth! However that was never made into reality, instead all Nordic nations embraced Social Democracy with Socialist health care and education.

  • Awesome! :p

  • Why was Sealand in there??? When did he ever interact with the Nordics???

  • @MagicStraightJacket In the "World Series" ep 32, he meets Iceland and tries to make friends with him. He also appears with Sweden in ep 27, but neither says anything.

  • @MagicStraightJacket It's also a big thing that Sealand is the 'child' of Finland and Sweden. I think it shows up in some of the webcomics...

  • @MagicStraightJacket To back XxgummyxbearsxX, when Sweden and Finland were in America and saw ChibiAmerica, Sweden thinks that Finland wannts kids, so he finds Sealand on the Internet, and basically steals him. Quite literally. In a box. (If you look up 'All SuFin moments in Hetalia', you should find it. I think that is in part 1.)

  • where did u get the pics and the song from?

  • @Multifantasydreamer That sounds awesome. End of story. I wanna go to your school

  • Awsome :D

  • Comment removed

  • I fucking LOVE this song, and I totally forgot about it till now. >:O Awesome video!

  • Oh crap, I have to learn swedish... x_x

  • @RachelTheHegdeCat Yes, I already made a video for him :]

It is on my channel, maybe you missed it ^^~

  • Oh God, The Nordics remind me of the people of NZ.

Denmark = Auckland (energetic though inmature)

Christchurch = Norway (always trolling Auckland)

Wellington = Sweden (Hard to understand)

Hamilton = Finland (except married to Auckland due to the proxmity)

Iceland = Dunedin (Proud, but different and lonely)

Time to do some creating methinks!!! :D

  • @Aspekitteh What's NZ?

  • @256NatLiz Do not the cities of Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington hit you with a clue-by-four? Tis Middle Earth...er, I mean, New Zealand!

  • @cwolvie The people of New Zealand?

No. Just Wellington and Hamilton. (man, I'm seeing Hamilton everywhere!)

  • @Aspekitteh NZ?

  • @AreFlamingosPink NZ = New Zealand.

  • proud to beeeeeeeeee danish >:'DD

  • This thought me Swedish! \(^O^)/ YAY! Great vid

  • I dont know why i thought of it, but couldnt you do a Fem!Sweden and Denmark with the song "Drömmer jag"? By...Ehhh, i forgot, just search it on youtube XD But it is the right one when it is a guy sining danish and a girl singing swedish :D

  • @MelonDAdevil Yes, I know that song! It's great :D

There is actually already an APH video with that song ^^~

  • @SkadiPirate I know, but that one is with MALES XD

  • what language is this in? i'd like to brag to my friends that i've memorized a song in a different language.

  • @BlueFireTigerLion Ohhh~ I don't know...ohhh~, wait, the annotations read "Swedish lyrics". So yeah~ then it must be Swedish~

  • @SkadiPirate oh, srry. for some reason the annotations never really showed up whenever i watched this. (stupid google chrome) thanks.

  • @BlueFireTigerLion i use google chrome and its fine for me o.o

  • @SkadiPirate hey where is japan's???? did u made one for japan?

  • @sweetblackblood1 Yes, I did but YT deleted it :[

You still can watch it on my account on DailyMotion though...link is in my profile :]

  • DenNor all the way! SuFin is cute & Iceland...well, lets put him w/ Scotland~! XD LOVI APROOVED.

  • where can i get the very last pic??? :D

  • @WingedVampireWolf I found it on deviantART, but I don't remember the artist name anymore :[ (But I wrote them all in my description, so one of them should it be ^^)

  • The replay button is now broken. *downloads song* YOU AND YOUR AWESOME TASTE IN MUSIC WIN AT LIFE

  • OH MY GOSH!! Where can i get the song?

  • OMYGOSH I LOVE THIS SONG! I heard it in a princess tutu AMV a while ago and it is so awesome!

  • I have a question. I downloaded this song onto my iTunes via that handy little li.nk in your profile (BTW, Thank you for that :D), but they're not working. It lets me listen to them each one or two times before it error's and says it can't find the original file. So is it just my computer and I need to fix it, or is it something else?

  • @TheUneatenCookie Sometimes there are problems with the files but to be true, I don't know why. You could ask Kapusta17 (here on YT) 'cause she's in charge of the music list :]

But since most people have no problems with the files, I think it could be your computer...!? :''D

  • @SkadiPirate Hermm, I'll look into that. Thanks C:

  • @mieroth That makes sence I guess, I think its good that you get rid of the swedish lessons, Its kind of pointless except from Åland... and Its always nice with fewer lessons ^^

  • Is Hungary a Germanic country or Nordic?

  • @Farfeb O_o' Neither nor.

Nordic countries are Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland & Iceland (+ their associated territories), so countries in Northern Europe.

Germanic countries; I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I think you mean the countries in which you speak German!? In Hungary you don't speak German (maybe only near the border to Austria & maybe they study it in school). Hungarian is not a Germanic language, it belongs to the Uralic languages, more specifically to the Ugric languages.

  • @Farfeb: Hungary is not a Nordic country, no. And Hungary is not a Germanic country. Hungarian however is an Ugrian language and belongs to the same language family as Finnish and Estonian (although the latter two are much closely related than either is to Hungarian). Germanic languages are what the Nordics (except Finland) speak along with German, Dutch, English and Flemish (language in Belgium) among others.

  • @mieroth Flemish isn´t really a language, though. It´s a Dutch dialect.

  • @Farfeb Skadi is right. Hungary is neither. Germanic in the broadest sense is an ethno/linguistic grouping and the Nordics are a Geocultural designation; neither of them include Hungarians (Magyars). Hungary is a bit of an odd-ball in that it is linguistically unrelated to its neighbours.

  • @Farfeb Probably Central or Eastern European.

  • @NetaSuri Didn't you know that moomins were finnish? for swedish people its kinda like:

-ooh Finland, Moomins, Sauna! They all grouped together :)

Btw do you still have swedish lessons in Finland? I heard that more and more schools are changing into english instead, but what do I know?

  • @LegendaryGirlK: Finnish, Swedish and English are compulsory languages in all schools in Finland. Many Finns are against compulsory Swedish language classes though, since they see them as pointless. I get why the policy was put in place in the 60's - this was before English as a lingua franca so Finland needed a way to communicate with the rest of the Nordics. But since English is spoken by all these countries today I'd agree that this policy is pointless, and it will probably be changed soon.

  • The new season of Hetalia (season 5) will feature the Nordics I hear

  • @NetaSuri Really? But i thought it were a woman who made it! Well I guess you know much more than me since youre finnish and so on^^

  • @LegendaryGirlK she is a woman, I just though it was he XDD

  • Where DO you get these wonderful songs?! Didn't know Sweden had its own "Lady Gaga-esque" singer. :)

  • Var hittade du bilden från 0:15 - 0:17? Kär i den xD

  • @Danaaaiix Deviantart, artist is Nekomatako :]

  • @SkadiPirate Tackar så mycket :D

  • did you know that the moomin (the little plush finlands holding at 0.28) actually was introduced in sweden first? although the creator is from finland :)

  • @LegendaryGirlK I did, I'm Finnish but I thought that moomins are made by some Swedish guy until last autumn :DD

  • @NetaSuri: Pfft, fail. xD Moomins are probably one of the things most strongly associated with Finland abroad. :D In Sweden we even refer to Finland-Swedish as Moomin-Swedish. :D

  • @mieroth really? :D cool, we're moomins ♥

and I learned that moomins are Finnish during our Swedish lesson. You gotta love irony :D

and I wasn't the only one who didn't know. probably half of our class didn't. but now that I know I'm even more proud to be Finnish :DD

  • norway is reaaaaaally cuute, no?? : )

  • The Nordics- Cold, Strong, Proud people!

  • The title of the song is just "Hall om mig."

"Hall om mig nu" is a very different song by the band Lotta Engbergs.

  • what language is this song sung in????

  • @TheLoveJynx Please read the annotations, when it appears at ~0.07. What does it say? :]

It says "Swedish lyrics" so then, what language is it? ;]

  • @SkadiPirate French. I'M RIGHT.

  • @MistyTathren YOU WIN!

  • @SkadiPirate Bet you get mad when people ask you what language the vid's in. Especially when the language is right there.

  • 0:28 <3 mummi!!!!

  • Yea all we danes walk around with axes >D

Nice video and i loooooove the song <3

  • @grisling93 We knew it!!

  • @grisling93 We knew it!!

  • I love this song with a passion :D

  • 0w0

I like those pictures of Hanatamago :S

  • Cool! ^_^

  • Minor nitpick, but the first lines are "Att vår värld behöver ha/Mera kärlek varje dag/Det vet både jag och du" - "That our world needs to have/More love every day/Both you and I know that". Mostly it's just the allt/att thing.

    I like your videos. :)

  • This song sounds familiar. Very. Was this on Eurovision or something? I connect it to someone called Nanne, or was it Nanna? I can't remember and it's driving me mad...

  • @lolz9113 In 2005, Nanne Grönvall presented that song at Melodifestivalen but the jury rejected it and so they sent Martin Stenmarck with "Las Vegas" to the ESC...(if I remember that right) :'D

  • I -3 norway!!

  • My nation is a person??

  • @pivotair Which nation is that? The one you're from, or the one you live in?

  • @256NatLiz I think of Sweeden...

  • @pivotair Oooooh. Yeah, he's in there.

  • @pivotair yes! : D Which one?

  • @kiyoshandgohan Norway and Sweden.

  • @pivotair I see but which one were you born in?

  • @kiyoshandgohan Stalker? Does it really matter where I got born when I don't remember it?

  • @pivotair I was just curious! I like meeting people from different countries to learn. I'm sorry if y
