For me, Burdon is one of the best soul/blues singer - i have seen him in many life acts - unfortunately, he has not always such an exelent guitar player in his band like here. This life act is abolutely great ! This applies to all songs from this concert.
I read that it came down to a choice between the late Mitch Mitchell and Ansley for Jimi Hendrix and a coin toss decided Mitch Mitchell would play the drums for Jimi. What is Ansley doing these days? Can't seem to find any info on who he is playing with.
Never really heard of Eric Burdon until I got the new Neal Morse CD... and anything with Morse is worth checking out. Now I'm a Burdon fan ;)
