The book does such a great job of covering exactly what transpired to split the two, and its actually sad. It reads in the book that Dame could understand why Jigga didn't want to be business partners, but he couldn't grasp why he didn't want to be his friend anymore.
Fascinating....I wonder what Biggs was doing if Dame, Jay and John was running the ROC. I know he was the "silent" partner and all, but what exactly did he do?
People don't realize John Meneilly is who molded Jay-Z into the most amazing business man in hip-hop.

I loved this chapter in the book!

Exactly that, he was the silent partner who provided capital in the infant stages of the Roc.
