Phil La Marr the voice for Vamp is also the voice for Samurai Jack among other big roles like in futurama. While David Hayter the voice of Snake and Plisken wrote the screenplays for X-men and Watchmen, he was also the original voice for the EA games intros("E-A Sports, its in the game").

I highly recommend you look into Metal Gear Solid, the first one. I hope xcal is able to do playthroughs of MGS 1 and 4 and possibly Peace Walker in the future so his fans like you can learn the story of Metal Gear Solid. Fortunately for you and everyone else, xcal doesn't skip the cutscenes or the codec conversations :P
