I graduated from WG in '04 and was part of the Flag team and the drumline needed a little work my freshman year so a guy from NC A&T's drumline came and taught the '01-'02 drumline new (at the time) cadences and they came up with Black Ice (the schools colors are Black & Gold). Also durning that time the band director ran the program into the ground (went from 100 members to 25) and the next director made it even worse, so its been rebuilding. Not easy to do after that amount of mess. Great Job!

OK. Every drumline around here uses the same cadences!!!!... Grrrr. Heat Wave of Southeast got u beat, but they are amazing. They took down Grimsley's Blue Steel with no prob. Even just watch "sehs blacktop show", its from forever ago, but they've gotten better. And there is so serious dirt, but the vid. was from before band camp.

yo im the quad player in this video...we didnt play it because our captain never bother to teach it to our new bassline...and first off there is no quad part and just to let you know i got a full scholorship for playing the drums so if you think i suck then good for you

Yea were traditional, and were also very young this year. Next year we'll be able to compete at the same level as the previous one, where we got first place in Orlando.

Everyone is looking at the camera. Fox 8 was there for a peprally and they had the tv screen projected on the wall. There was a lot going on, cheerleaders doing their thing at the same time. The news casters and camera man were going around filming different parts.
