The 262 would not stop the RAF night bombing which did more than 50% of the damage (RAF Lancaster carried 3 times the bombload of the b17) Also unlikely it would stop the Mosquito daylight raids.

Germany had been fighting since september 1939, while america waited all the way until almost 1942 before they got into the war. And they think they won the war all by themselves. They did damn good, but if anyone won ww2, it was the russians. They broke the germans at stalingrad and kursk.

I respect Germany's aces including Adolf Galland. If i was given the chance to decide who i'm going to make General of an airforce/defense, it would be him. He should had been the high command of the Luftwaffe not Goering. Goering didn't even flew a single sortie for Germany during ww2. But people like Galland,Rall & other aces done a lot of sacrifice for their country & flew thousands of sorties. Not to mention wounded many times & still kept going & flying after they have recovered.

The side effects were well known at the time. The bombs were tested. The US used brute force and still does today. They simply do not know other ways of dealing with people. Killing civilians is bad no matter what the reasons are.

No they did not know the side effects, otherwise for example in the 1950s they wouldn't have fed 73 disabled children radioactive calcium and other radioisotopes, or given pregnant women and newborns radioactive iodine, or worse yet dropping radioisotopes over a 500,000 acre area containing 3 towns.
As for fallout they began testing of that in 1954 on American citizens in the Marshall islands. Tell me, does that sound like a government that knows what the side effects did?

Yes, and also they're planes would have been twice as fast as the fastest allied planes. So they could ignore escorting fighters and just shoot down any bombers. This would have stopped the allied air force.

The Americans are a modest people by nature. They do not boast. Make no mistake. The Pacific War was massive. More soldiers were assigned to the Pacific campaign from the US than for Europe, also with far more casualties. The air and naval campaigns were also of a massive scale.
