  • you say um to much. and slow down

  • today i tried to rattle an 8 point in for the first time. i managed to lure in a large spike but not the buck i was hoping for. and i rattled for about 45 seconds every 25 minutes. within the seconds time i had 2 does and the spike. i am hoping to get the 8 point soon

  • Is rattling illegal in some places? - Just wondering

  • what the fuck is this guy talking about....sure rake brush and make noise like that but tone down ur rattling a bit and ull have much more success...and if you have ever watched deer fight youll notice they DO tickle thier antlers together to hopefully bluff the other deer. Finally only rattle for about 30 seconds 45 TOPS. repeat this every half hour or so...not 5 min...

  • god man you should make a vid not this retard son of a bitch

  • hey thanks man...its all about simulating the fight my friend..im only 20 but ive spent time in the woods and have watched them fight...gotta paint the picture..perhaps ur right...maybe i will make a video.

  • he makes em to help us out, adding dumb comments is just a bonus ;)

I bought a rattle bag that sounds nothing like the ones in that vid, its so much lighter... bah :(

  • I use antlers from an 11 point buck I shot in 2007. Heavy beam and tines, make an awesome sound: beating brush and branches is easier with the bigger ones as well (I have a 3X3 set I sometimes use as well). But it is hard to carry back and forth to your site, and if your not careful you will have bruised knuckles.

  • mother focker

  • i was hunting with my dad and we went for our usual morning hike, and not to long into the hunt he found and picked up a monster mule shed. it was 3 -5 years old, but it was a 4 point shed. i asked my dad if we should take it with us incase we find the other antler, but he said that we probably wouldn't. half an hour later, i found the other antler! but he still told me to put it back. we could of gotten a monster buck if we had kept them.

  • i had no idea rattling had that much of an effect

  • Dovete crepare tutti schifosi bastardi!

  • you can't even spell, so shut up.

  • Medium size antlers are plenty good. The problem with antlers is that they get in the way when when carrying them to and from your spot. You can bang your knuckles up too. I started using a rattle bag a couple of years ago. They are available at any outfitting store. They are compact, easy to carry and use and they work. Got a dandy in 2008 by rattling him in with the bag.

  • they're better than nothing, but they dont match the quality of actual deer antlers.

  • True enough. But they are nice to carry!

  • yea! carrying those antlers all day does become a pain.

  • thanks for the tips could i buy some antlers that sound good
