But you can't say that someone who can play a song and make music has no talent.

Because if someone can do that, they still got some talents. Even some slightest bit.

But I'd say Eisley have talents. Check them out.

If you say they have no talent, you probably have no ear at all or you have a narrowed-mind.

I just spent time watching 4 clips of Eisley...they lack of spirit, creativity, technique, etc its all based on vocals; is a vocal or coral group mounted with a band "clothes". Please check the video that the gals are playing in the studio the song called "invasion", check the bridge and some other parts of the song...very poor.

You just don't understand them, that's why you think they're not good.

I think people get touchy about NMH covers because the songs are so personal to Jeff Mangum that they are really only properly performed by him or someone who can demonstrate the emotion (which is nearly impossible to do). As with Brand New's covers, this was competent, but there was no life in it.

I feel the same, but to be honest this is worse than I expected... I expected this to be amazing, but the vocals feel off-- like not the right notes at the parts where she's being monotonal... Like it feels like a steady wrong note.

The harmony sucks too, but the parts with one singer doing the spicy stuff vocally sounds really good.

Im really picky with NMH covers, but I must say, this is pretty well done.

There's a notable difference between the two versions. The original is inhuman, and so strong (vocally and emotionally)

This version is a sweeter take on the song, the voices sound almost like lullabies.
