Awsome stockpile, I wish I had a huge room like that to display all of my good free and cheap finds also but for now in the cabinets and closets they are :0)
hurray for free food and everything else. I'm so glad I started using coupons and shopping smart over a year and half ago. Saving lots of dollars makes me happy
Am sooooooo jealous am in the UK I want to live in the states! We have nothing like that in UK and I cant save anything! We can only have buy one and get one free offers! No coupons or discounts! :(
if i could get things so low or free like you showed here me and my family would do well instead of not. i'm all over your channel and web page trying to learn how. thanks
Love it!! I started using coupons in Jan 09 and I will always use coupons. Its the smartest way to shop. I Love your channel and blog. I hope you post more shopping videos in the future. And don't let the haters bother you. YOU ROCK
I think its great that you coupon shop. But Its kinda annoying that when us (unselfish people) go to use our one or two coupons on that great deal they are all sold out in stores cause of people that stock up and dont leave any for others. But Awesome stock pile LOL
For those that are critical of the choice to "stockpile" food I say these things: There are many good reasons to do it. The savings is HUGE and in this economy I'll take what I can get. Secondly, emergency preparedness... whether it be a natural disaster or one of a personal nature such as losing your main household income, I want to be prepared. Also, some religions praise having a years worth of food stored. Don't be critical of those who are smart, resourceful and prepared.
@NichyMcNich I have over 100 pounds of brown rice, 35 pounds of pinto beans, 68.12 gallons of water in 16.9 oz (700mL) bottles, and I just bought a 55 gallon drum for additional emergency water storage. Our pantries are stuffed with food we used coupons for, not to mention our freezer full. I try not to buy so much processed foods but these are the items that are on sale all the time.
Thank you so much for showing us this and for your web page/facebook. i am new at this and i am so happy to say i save 25 dollars on the pill i thought that was pretty good for my first time. i do shop on post bc it is way cheaper then off post. and the commissary offers coupons i love it! can you tell me how you got the razors for .40 cents and all the bath items for free? thank you so much for helping and showing us all this great infor! i cant wait for your show!
i don't care what any one say! you do it girl and you know what you use and how often you use it! please tell me how you got those Razors for .40 cents! we go thru those alot and i would to stockpile those up i am learning alot for you and i am so happy i found this oh and can you please tell me how you got those items for free! thank you so much for your videos and web site i cant wait for your show!!! :)
HI, thank you for sharing. Is this in your garage or a room with AC? I'm in hot weather area so I can't seem to find the right place to put my stockpiles...
if you knew where I lived, you would chuckle with me at the AC question! I live on the coast and it's about 55 degrees every day, 365 days a year. It's a really different climate and I've only been here for a year and a half, so I'm still adjusting. But to answer your question, "no, I don't have an AC". :)
Really valid point you bring up though; you would certainly be limited on some items if they were kept in a hot garage.
@wearyourbaby I live in the "phoenix area" and I had to move all of my bottle water in the house...all 516 bottles of 16.9 oz 0_o because the heat will cause the water to go bad. You generally want to store water for only up to 3 months. All of these cases of water I got on sale.
Love this!! Such an inspiration & so excited to watch you tonight on TLC!! Just F.Y.I. @KurasFamily- This is nowhere near being considered a "hoarder." If you actually understood what couponing and couponing ethics are about then you would know that this stockpile (and others like it) are built up over a period of time.
@KurasFamily If you check out her website, you will also find a video of her donating almost 300 pounds of food to the local food bank. If only the world had more "hoarders" ,as you called her, maybe there would not be so much hunger.
You are remarkable. You have affordably prepared to meet your families needs in case of the unexpected, you share your excess with your friends, neighbors and those in need in the community, and you are well organized at that. I am impressed how you share your couponing and stockpiling skills so selflessly with anyone who wants to learn along with a friendly dose of coupon shopping ethics. It must be a joy to know you are self-reliant and will never have to go without. Thanks for sharing.
Why does anyone care if they think you have too much? It's your money (and your money you're saving). Clearly, @KurasFamily has never seen the show "Hoarders" because this is nothing like that. I have a puny stockpile compared to yours, but I will say that it is only myself and my husband we are shopping for and it is a huge irritation when we run out of things as opposed from shopping from our stockpile. Way to go KCL! You have taught us how to save money, shop intelligently and save time.
@KurasFamily It should be noted that if KCL bought any and everything based on the fact that it was on sale there would be NO walking space in the garage. A so-inclined person can easily gets literal tons of cheap stuff in a given month. Besides which, some people you would call hoarders are actually turning around and donating things beyond need to charities. There are many people that have stories of stockpiles saving lives.
This is my stockpile. I do not keep produce, dairy, meat or "perimeter items" as you called them in my garage, for what I would think are obvious reasons. I do stockpile cheese, produce and meat (in freezer) and there are coupons for these items as well as many organic products.
You can put forth the effort to learn about couponing and find coupons for products YOU use, or not.
My family goes through around 12 boxes of cereal each month, and cereal has a shelf life of usually 12-18 months, so "yes, i really do need (or rather, I really do use) 100 boxes of cereal".
I'll admit the crackers don't have as long a shelf life and i'm constantly having to share those. The junk food is my husband's and try as I may, I can't get him to stop eating it, so I might as well buy it when it's free.
I have my shelves! I just need more Sunday papers, because I've already reached at least a 3 year supply of personal care and cleaning items! This is a true inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing!
I'm impressed! :)

ok i new at this and i was wondering what are some tips at getting started
cena1051306 10 months ago
two things. (getting personal here)
One: I noticed that neither of the KrazyCouponLadies are married.
Two: Demer says she has a husband in this video but she is not wearing a wedding ring. In fact neither of them have wedding rings.
Sup witdat? It seems like with all the money saved they should have fat rocks on their hands but they don't.
ShogaNinja 11 months ago
@ShogaNinja you don't necessarily need a wedding ring to be married. I hate wearing rings and I will never wear one.
