They can come in all colors as well, including palomino, roan, pinto, sabino, tobino, splash, frame overo, Tovero, ect. Many of the solid colored Cobs and Vanners are americanized. The breed is truely not large at all, and originated in the UK and northern islands. The Clononeen line is great. Anyway, these horses are beautiful, and you are lucky to have them.
Actually irish cobs can be of any colour - they're not a breed, its just the type of horse (bone structure, metabolism etc.) And irish tinkers are traditionally coloured.
