The CCP is forming a homogeneous society. They establish laws, such as not practicing Falun Gong but then people do it anyway. Crazy law or not, they broke it and are punished accordingly. You can call it cruel, strange or what have you but we are westerners, what do we know. I know that a law is a law and if someone breaks it but is let off easy then it has a ripple effect. Which is why they have public convictions and such. They are discouraging the breaking of crimes.
