Thank You LORD JESUS that I am NOT normal. I think this is funny and can depict some people that are super emotional whence there is NO presence of the Holy Spirit and absolutely nothing is happening and people are just being religious. I, however find it cliche that when people do get touched in mighty ways by GOD in their very inner core and religious people label it as overemotionalism. Maybe you can make a vid of mr legalistic unemotional super religious guy? lol

This doesn't seem like the Biblical concept of correcting each other in love, it seems to be a dynamic of showing how we, the mocker, are so much smarter, genuine and over all cooler than those other Christians we are mocking. What worship leader after watching this and genuinely expressing emotion in worship as described in the Psalms won't feel paranoid or wonder if they'll be mocked after seeing this? And what congregant won't look at the worship leader in a mocking way? How is this good?

As a worship leader myself who does the same thing this is saying several times a week, I can laugh at myself. This is all in good fun, and in a way, sort of encouraging. =) It's all in good fun. Just lighten up a bit.

This is the 2nd of this type of video that I"ve seen now. Northpoint Church, Andy Stanley's church in Atlanta, did a similar mock of the emergent church format... I find them both disturbing. When you begin to mock how someone worships or prays you are treading on hallowed ground. If we begin to parody worship styles - all of which could easily be mocked and parodied in one way or the other - we just start to tear each other down.

I have to say, as a "traditional" Christian, who tends to not do much in the way of contemporary worship, i find the video rather humorous. however, i would offer that i have had worship experiences where the Spirit has moved so strongly within me that all i can do is raise my hands and do much of what was described here. it can be authentic. sometimes it's not, but it can be.

Maybe you should have replaced "worship leader" with "Jesus' disciples" from the book of Acts....it may be true that you are mocking the worship leader in this parody but at first glance it mocks anyone who feels the Spirit in worship. Your other vids are pretty funny though :-)

These people don't get what it means to worship in Spirit and Truth because they don't know who is their Savior. Worship is not just singing and get drown by emotion or melody. I have been through that thinking when I was a teenager. Hopefully the Spirit will touch & teach them.

That was incredible!!! I've been a Christian and a musician (rock 'n roller) for awhile now and I can honestly say that I'm not a fan of "that guy" in a worship setting. He's very distracting ;-) Whatever happened to the pipe-organ ladies?! They were humble, musically excellent, AND they got the job done w/o being put on a stage. I've been in many situations where someone is just putting on a show by trying to appear emotional and get the audience to respond, when really, they should only be responding because God is working in their hearts, not because of how the worship leader is acting.

This video seems to be aimed at those who try to make worship into a performance, not those who are truly worshipping.

i realize this may have been done in good humor but be careful that you don't have judgement in your hearts towards emotional worshippers. we don't see the heart as God does. and just because someone worships differently than we do doesn't mean they're wrong. it just may be God wants to show us what intimate relationship with Him looks like with a physical demonstration in the natural.

i'm not a fan of this video. although i do acknowledge that "over-emotional" worship can be done in a self-centered way, putting on a show. this is an issue of the heart, and not for us to judge. in the bible, when people encountered God, they couldn't control themselves (Lk 7:36-50). they fell on their faces before Him (Ezk 1:28). and that is the proper response to God.
