it's just bad use! i have it for 2 years now and it's still in the same condition as the first day! pavilion is one of the best laptops!

obviously it can break just like that. I care about my stuff really well and laptop didn't hit anything... really don't know why it happend... if we look at build quality hp pavilion series just suck

that can't be with no reason! how can it break like that just by a normal use?? a have this laptop and it's so cool and has a good quality! this laptop must been hit by something!

Seen this with my own eyes, I can tell you.... nothing nappened, just every day use.

I'm an owner of a dv8000 model, had no problems what so ever, so I guess the dv9000 series just has crappy casings.
