  • what they do is get you IN the ballpark, which is egg-ZACT-lee where you wanna be, batman, because it's now in YOUR hands. given all these factors, it's scary how close a lot of his "themed" peds get to their inspirations. this (& the cot) are at the top of that heap as far as i'm concerned. they are, at the very least, character changers which, for someone with a fryette sig;x, is a BLESSING! btw, the s6 is a revelation with a kt88-loaded amp...

  • Give me some sugar, little honey bee

  • Impressive as always, these pedals are all superb. I've got the purple plexi 800 and that is awesome. The pedal in this review doesn't beat the natural sound of my Fender Hot Rod deluxe but it is still very impressive.

  • The sound of my assplosions on the toilet beat the natural sound of your Fender Hot Rod Deluxde

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

  • Wish you had a strat in there.

The pedal description has me wanting to purchase "Cranked SR". For me, HB does not exude classic cranked SR tone. Needed to hear strat neck, 4 and 2 position with some blues shuffles, rythym chording to make a buy decision. Too harsh and generic sounding with HB's IMO.

  • Are you guys planning on getting some more of these babies? This, the Les Luis and the Pro Valve have to be their best pedals.

  • Oh sure, now I need to decide between this and the COT 50...thanks a lot :)

...or, I could get both! Very impressive pedals.

  • Thanks, again!! Superb demo!! He's GREAT!! Who is he? Does he compose or record?

    Again, I ask...

Is there anything in pedals, or any effects device, that can equate the sound of playing a Fender Telecaster for any guitar or even keyboard? You can make an electric sound like an acoustic and vice versa, but can you make either sound like a Fender Telecaster? Thanks again in advance.

  • equalizer

  • Probably something like the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster.

  • ~Great pedal...~~

  • Tom Petty "Honeybee"! Great demos as usual.

  • Superb demo!! Who was the guitarist/speaker? Does he compose or record? Is there anything in pedals that can equate the sound of playing a Fender Telecaster for any guitar or even keyboard? Thanks again in advance.

  • There is a pedal the electro harmonix makes that supposedly knocks the tone from being a humbucker into a single coil, its called the knockout or something

  • Well, since I can't find Lovepedals for an affordable price in Brazil, are there similar pedals, that provide that old Fender tube amp feel, Keith Richards' style?..

  • Yes, the Zia drive, by Durham Electonics is meant to give a nice early Stones rhythm tone. Also, there are quite a few Barber pedals that give a Fender Tweed tone. Thanks,

  • nice demo. how do you think this would sound through a Deluxe Reverb reissue? Cheers

  • that sounds killer

  • does this pedal work well as a boost at the end of an effects chain?

  • Even though it does have a lop of volume on tap, it looks like you're going to get a good amount of gain even with the intense knob all the way down. You'd be better with an actual clean boost instead of this, IMO.

  • As the other users stated, this is meant to transform your amp and tone to the sound of a Fender Super. If you are looking for a clean and transparent boost (no tone change) a clean boost such as the Catalinbread Super Chili Picoso or Keeley Katana would do the trick!

  • Thanks !
