dreamt about dolphins last night, which made me cry! Then I remembered this song by Martyn, I was a fan at least 20years ago! Met him back stage at a gig in London somewhere, what a nice man... nice to hear some of the songs again. Is he still gigging?
i saw martyn when he was the support act for chris de burgh at the NEC ,just him and his guitar blew me away, not sure how long after that he released this single and his album, needless to say bought it as soon as i saw it, still got the signed photo from him must be nearly 20 years ago now
The 'first' record that bought him to the general public's attention, still a classic now. Have seen him live a few times and he is always fantastic, a rare example of TRUE TALENT.
Martyn Joseph came to my school (Colyton \grammar inDevon) many years ago before he was famous and as a teenager I thought he was great. It is good to see he is still around and bigger than then! He always sang Majesty very well!
