@TehMusicCentral you have to go to the screen where you customize the amount of blur and stuff and pull the bottom of the screen up, just look around, and you will find it

Our professors all said Gaussian exactly as you did in the video, but I'm pretty sure pronunciation varies by region for this word. When there is a possibility you will be misunderstood it is always better to not drop or slur syllables IMHO.

Every version of Vegas has keyframes, make sure their not hidden (pull up the bar from the bottom of the FX window.)

Yea Photoshop and various other programs have similar functions, mostly all Adobe programs, but Vegas does has some cross-references to them.

The gaussian blur is good if you are trying to make a spy camera effect.

I made a music video for a band called Starling Electric that uses the radial blur in a few scenes. (You can see it on my profile) It took me a long time to get those parts looking right, so you have to play with it and the keyframing untill you get the look you want.

This tut is great BTW and will be helpful to alot of people. You and pookieftw make the best Vegas tuts.
