Lee retired after the Arnold in 1995 so it hasn't been 15 years yet. But he's still in great shape for a 49-year old. Although a light user, steroids were part of most of his professional career. I guess he is a good example why you don't need them to build an outstanding physique.

He let them use steroids, but cracked down on Growth hormone which distends the belly (ala Ronnie coleman and Branch Warren) and really cracked down on synthol use. He wanted his athletes to be hard on stage because he wanted to sell bodybuilding to the olympics. When Weider sold his publications and empire to Time Warner in 2002, Time warner said to athletes, "go ahead and use growth hormone and Synthol".
