Just watched this movie - very disappointing comparing with 1st part. Visual effect weren't believable, the atmosphere was very dark. Even such fairy tales like this one should be more bright. Frodo is considered as the main character but he looked absolutely useless here. He was nothing without his friend Sam.
I found only 4-5 characters you could care about - Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Arwen (Liv Tyler), Sam (Sean Astin), Eowyn (Miranda Otto) and Eomer (Karl Urban).

The crappy 'preset' transitions before :30 really detract from it. You'll never ever see 'shape' transitions like the square or circle opening.
Other then that, nice. Should've used some actual audio from the movie itself, but besides that and the crappy preset transitions, nice job, follows well. Perhaps not so much a trailer for the battle as much as it is an overview.
