  • I despise Wal-MArt because they are participating with the Department of Homeland Security to install a Stasi-like police state in the United States.

  • ben stiller hosting the walmart shareholders meeting with all the celebrities is just distrurbring...especially after watching the involvement of the illuminati in the hip hop music industry....sick fukin world....

  • we live in a sick fuckin world...

  • fuck walmart

  • BOYCOTT WALMART!!..did you see anything "Made in the USA?"..no//also, they start wages high, then drop them, make everyonr part-time, and end up depleting the economy of the area they invade, as well as running small businesses out of business, with the low price of their imported goods. They are destroying the USA, just like Nike, Hershey's, and any other foreign out-sourced company. Boycott Walmart..unless they start buying their products from the USA..then the money stays in the USA..duh????

  • seriously how much did CNBC get paid to produce this bias filled promotional video for Walmart? we're not that stupid... BOYCOTT WALMART in 2011

  • its funny how wall mart is bigger then alot of european countries.

  • wal mart is one big lie.greed sits in.cut the workers hours .save money live better. that`s what wal mart ceo does.

  • @kitfantogo

    all ceo's

  • I wanna go to the walmart in china and japan!

  • I'm sure it's different from store to store, but I for one am so tired of all the abuse the public gives the company. By no means are they the perfect little angel they want you to think, but I've never worked for a better company. I'm going on seven years on overnights and have more benefits offered to me and more respect than one could imagine. I would nearly riot if somehow the union was incorporated and forced on us. I'm quite happy thank you!

  • trust me if you had the union backing you, you would be a lot happier, Im sure you have job security but with a union you would have 100% job security(unless you did some stupid shit to get fired)your the first person ive seen speak of not wanting a union in place, everyone in our store wants it, even the big guns of the store

  • @hothfreeze did you get payd to say that..??..

  • No, not at all. I just get so frustrated with all the bashing the company gets from those on the outside looking in. All it is is hype and rumors. Just the other day I ended up killing every myth my Brother had brought up about the chain and he was so floored by the end that he jokingly asked me; "So, do they give you guys free cookies too?" To my own shock, I had to pause and say; "Actually,...yes they do!" LOL

  • @hothfreeze

So, after reading your two comments, I am curious.

What do you do at Walmart?

  • I'm currently the head of the overnight maintenance dept. I'm in charge of physically holding everything together and making sure the store looks as good as possible. We're the guys; cleaning the bathrooms, the entire building, stripping, sanding, and waxing floors, etc. Again, despite everything people are told, our entire crew is comprised of white, natural born American citizens.LOL

  • @hothfreeze the demographics of walmart employees matches the demographics of the customers that walk through the doors every day I've noticed. There's a heavy somalian/mexican population around one walmart they have a bunch of somalian/mexican group. There's another walmart that has mostly upper middle class white population and they have mostly white workers at that store.

  • @hothfreeze or doughnuts... but they're always out by the time my breaks/lunches happen. :(

  • you must have had some terribly low standards before working there

  • I know man. I worked there during my college days.. and overall, I had a gr8 experience.

You have too many people these days who read about isolated incidents and apply that to the entire company.

  • holy shit, i know the red head at 1:03. and yeah, they treat us Western North Carolina workers terribly as well, scheduling us on days when we have no availability, making us work past the end of our shift and the such. not to mention cutting your hours back every 4 weeks so you can't get full time

  • @ironman781 how much of that is you not wrapping up your job in time for the day? What department do you work? Because the front end's easy on that, but I've done stock and gotten out of there on time because I started my 'wrapup' around an hour to half hour before the end of my scheduled shift. If you go over, it doesn't matter unless you work 40 hours per week, which they'll cut your lunch or make you come in late because they don't want you to have overtime without managerial consent.

  • The real question is: are Walmart workers truly human beings or are they some lower form of life?

  • The workers in the Sarasota Florida Wal-marts are not treated correctly. They are abused, expected to 8 hours of work in 4 1/2 or 5 hrs., expected to do the work of 2,3 and 4 ppl at times, expected not to speak at all while on the clock. This is stripping each individual of his/her human rights. What's more, each worker is so closely scrutinized by some managers that they are afraid and depressed most of the time. Some managers even watch while employees are in the break rooms, like prison.
