It's not wrong neo's and Cane Coro's usually always have their ears clipped. Neo's and Corsos are guard dogs and where originally the roman war dogs. you clip the ears incase they get into a fight the ears won't get damaged and it's just something else for the other dog to hold onto. Plus you clip them when they are really little the dogs don't remember it. My corso's ears are clipped and he almost killed my nextdoor neighbors pitt if he had long droopy ears it would be a hazard for my dog
