Cool !! Time to bring sarangi music into the modern age...nothing wrong with the classical style , mind U. But if they electric sitar was made in the 60s...it's about time :) Imagine playing this into a loopbox for the ambient parts, then improvise soloing over it. :) I can hear it now :))
very emotional and inspired playing.....truly commited to the art of sanragi as a path......the muse celebrate when dave sits down to play......teacher and student rolled into one.....ashe
How'd you hook it up to stompboxes man? I love what you're doing here, I've been thinking about getting a sarangi myself. Right now the only "exotic" instrument I play is the baglama saz (a turkish lute), how difficult to play is the sarangi? I know you're supposed to use your fingernails to stop the strings.
What are your influences? mercury thermometers, liquid nitrogen, jasmine flowers closing at night, and mushrooms? That's me at 3:33. All joking aside, this is awesome Dave. Keep on doing what you're doing.
I don't know actually. Maybe it could grow on you. I won't knock totally.

To much distortion. Sorry David.... Nice try, but some tings just don't work.

Nothing short of incredible. I am stoned out of my mind, and feel compelled to try and levitate with this on.
