Getting us out of NAFTA would cause strains on Mexican and Canadian trade, Canadian imports are huge along with mexico. They are second only to Chinese imports here. And it would probably cause an increase strain in business and throw our economy into an even worse state. You can't get rid of it right now. You're living in a dream world kid.

President Bush, use to have the highest approval rating by the American people. Overall, Bush had more successes then failures since his very first term as president. Not many people can accomplish that. Many of the American people favored him for his principles of "acting for the means necessary then for the means of status". The major fall in Bush's term was his "War on Terror".

America is on its way, true not as far as Europe has gone yet, but its coming. We've had two presidents in a row who are encouraging the taking away of our rights for which the Founding Fathers fought for. We need to return for them if we want any sort of chance. People say we're the only civilized country w/out universal health care ha we're also the only country with any semblance of freedom left. Should we vote that away too?

You can't compare chancelor/ emperor Palpatine with Obama and/ or Bush. The political background refers to politics in Germany in the 1930's (i. e. Palpatine = Hitler). As Palpatine did, Hitler was elected as chancelor of Germany and transfered the german republic into a hell, called third Reich - and a lot of people just realized later what happend ...

As it is, the Senate has considerable control over him, and, with no term limits in their way, the Senate is gaining ever more power.
