Who is Jennifer and who is Duncan? What is the point of these videos? They simply aren't funny. I haven't listened to the entire video on any of them, I was simply hoping for some sort of explanation.
They are soundboards of existing prank call victims. Duncan (real name: Frank Garrett) is, by far, the most popular of such victims. He was first called in 2007 and became one of the first prank call victims to become a soundboard, versus using ones of celebrities. He continues to be prank called and people continue to update soundboards made of him.
Jennifer was a barmaid at a place called the Hollywood Tavern. She was called by someone using a Back to the Future soundboard and became one also.
The way this works is that when someone is prank called, the call is recorded and put on YouTube. The calls are made using a soundboard, which uses soundbites that you click on to play a clip of something, generally a voice. The trend eventually became to take people's reactions (if good enough) and make them into their own soundboard, which are used to call someone else, like this waitress. In that regard, it becomes something of a domino effect. Linda thought this was the real Jennifer calling
