I have chocked it up to Moffat. While Davies gave it a great launch and it needed the updating, in the end it just turned into soap opera rather than adventure. Moffat is giving dark, but it isn't soap opery. Plus it is one of the BEST TARDIS Console Rooms ever and Moffat is hiring great people to pull it together. And no I don't work for the BBC, just have watched it since the 3rd Doctor.
Matt Smith is a goofier doctor in a darker series. David Tennant is a darker doctor in a goofier series. I prefer the former but I'm not sure if that's just because of Moffat being the show runner
This was the first time Chris was on this show and I died! It was like a birthday present to me seeing my two biggest crushes on tv! I through my shirt at the tv when Chris said that no girls shed their clothes! Imma dude though so...
Am I the only one who thought that David Tennant's version of the doctor was too intense? Matt Smith's version is a little more carefree...and has less anger management/depression
@cutycake I agree that David Tennant doctor who was more intense, but it's an intense series and the doctors character has been through a lot, he's the last of his kind, he lost Rose, those damn darlics just wount die, you gotta expect him to have a kind of anger/depression issues going on. Although, I do like the carefree attitude of Matt Smith's doctor it seems to sometimes be out of place, like when he in his deep thought figuring out the bad guys plan to kill him and hes smiling and giggling
Everyone who knows the History of Doctor Who knows that Tom Baker is the definitive and best Doctor ever! A majority of his stories are also widely considered the best. C'mon folks, it's time to watch more classic "Doctor Who". Also I only shed a tear when the 4th Doctor regenerated. Now THAT was truly sad. The end of the best era in "Who" history!

I like how at1:24, he mentions how Smith's face looks like an Easter Island Statue and they pretty much agreed in the recent episode.

EVERYONE cried a little (or a lot heh) when the 10th Doctor regenerated. It was freaking sad.

I LOVE when Craig talks of doctor who. Besides Doctor who episode, and Matt and Alex interviews, did he bring it up somewhere else?

Matt Smith FTW!! I knew Ferguson would be a Smith fan! He knows greatness when he sees it... if he can stop looking at short skirted red heads.

DAVID TENNANT FANS FTW.

This lady isn't going anywhere. :o)
In fact, when I meet a guy who says they like DW (especially if Tennant is their favorite) I'll be staying for a while! hahahaha
And the Matt Smith "Easter Island Head" almost caused me to laugh myself to death. :o)
