  • RT always has great interviews, they talk about intelligent topics and allow the interviewee to actually answer in full. 90% of US news is the total opposite, bullshit questions/topics, ignorant interviewers and not enough time for substantive answers.

  • why did you cut out what seemed to be the most interesting part of the video at the end?

  • Game over

  • Credit is too cheap! Thanks to the debt pushing central banks and their magic printing pressess

  • @kaminoneh

Some of the power could definitely go down to the local level, there are things that the government shouldn't mess with. And the government is spending way too much cash on defence, fighting wars that barely benefit ordinary Americans. The crux is that corporations are big so if there's no government, there would be absolutely nothing to counterbalance them. The corporate and banker power world is one of cynism, environmental degradation and boom&bust economy.

  • @MastahYupa The negatives you cite about the coroprations are real. But the biggest and most abusive corps are in bed with the gov. Without the gov umbrella of protection those companies will cease to exist, leaving us with the companies that do what they should, serving the customer. Leave environmental issues in local hands. My neighbors will not allow me or any company to destroy the neighborhood. Freedom works.

  • government is causing all these problems on purpose, its no accident

  • @TheFightaz haha, they're not that smart.

  • get government out. Ron Paul 2012!!

  • The thing is that there is no interest in defaulting and eradicating debt! The elite want to centralise banking, army, government policy, policing, health care, pharmaceuticals etc. it's the elite wanting chaos and anarchy so we the little people demand change and the elite will cry centralisation!! It's done by design and it's all about fear, power and contol and we are the sheep!! All the technicalities will become secondary because people will starve and riot and Marshall law will be declare

  • RT is the only channel that allows the guests to speak without interrupting them. My favorite news channel.

  • What planet is Peter from? It should be very obvious to even a 7-year-old that the REAL problem is Wall Street's and the big corporations grip over the government, not the opposite. Mr Schiff would definitely had protected the idea of the world being flat, to his last word, had he lived some hundred years ago.

  • @MastahYupa

"the REAL problem is Wall Street's and the big corporations grip over the government,"

no shit! Maybe if the government wasn't so big, then corporations wouldn't have one to influence! Minimizing the size of our government, and giving the power back to the states (AS STATED IN OUR CONSTITUTION) would be a better solution from keep corporations to influence each state 50 state gov.. And the other solution would have been to allow banks to go bankrupt!

  • SCHIFF CAN'T EVEN SAVE AMERICA, THIS OLD SYSTEM OF CAPITALISM IS KNOW LONGER RELEVANT TO SUSTAINABILITY, TECHNOLOGY IS FAR TO ADVANCE FOR THE CURRENT ECONOMIC SYSTEM, #WE NEED A UPDATE (WE ARE UPON A NEW EAURA) THAT INVOLVES NEW THOUGHT TO AN OUT DATED ECONOMIC INFRASTRUCTURE. CHANGE IS GOOD PEOPLE DON'T RUN FROM IT

  • @moesart1982

Schiff is not talking about the classical model of Economics, much rather he's from the Austrian school of economics. That's how he along with Dr. Paul were able to predict all the economic collapse. And I think the ones who seen the future will better no how to fix the crisis. So better not underestimate Shiff.

  • @moesart1982 I USED TO BE A FAN OF MR. SCHIFF AND RON PAUL WE I FIRST HEARD THERE SENSATIONAL MESSAGES. AFTER CRITICAL THINKING AND REALLY LOOKING AT REALITY. I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THESE 2 GUYS ARE JUST AS LAZZY & DELUSIONAL AS THE IDIOTS THAT ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING THE COUNTRY. OUR GOVERNMENT HAD TO POLICE THE FREE MARKET SYSTEM FOR A REASON.

  • @moesart1982 WHEN YOU FACTOR SOME NATURAL HUMAN ATTRIBUTES LIKE GREED, RACISM & CLASSISM. THAT SYSTEM IS INSTANTLY JADED. LETS GET INNOVATIVE MAKE A NEW DIRECTION.

  • Save the America Mr Schiff!

  • This kid is good... he respects and lets the interviewee complete his response...

  • I like it when interviewers let Peter talk. Its so annoying when he has to constantly talk over the host and other guests to get his points across.

  • tbh not sure y peter schiff is on RT considering how RT is all gov't controlled. Smart man, but he needs think this 1 through

  • @paulffraser Like what, where to speak? It's not importand, the importand thing is what he is saying. What you refer too is argumentum ad hominem and it is a fallacy - logical mistake.

  • @pipem4n so u r saying the RT is not gov't controlled??! useful idiot u are

  • @paulffraser

pff thats propostrous, I didn't say that. Russians are red as red square and seem to fuel this communist disease on US people, Usefull idiot is ad personam - again learn logical fallacies - the minute you use this "argument" you l o s t . Calling names might work in early school days, won't work now.

  • You are an interviewer, not a talk show host.

  • lol this is nonsense

  • @astuffasnails and u r???

  • good interviewer

  • Bring back Lauren Lyster!!!!!!!!!

  • Inflationary Depression in the making - it's gonna be fun folks, get your popcorn with plenty of butter for the show ;)

  • good interview man

  • looking forward to the total collapse of the US and the aftermath for parasite Israel

  • (cont.) currency away just like the the U.S and Euro nations are (which I realize is worrisome), but I do not feel tuned in enough to make an assessment about the rest of their economy. So in summation: will Japan stop inflating away it's currency, and does their economy have a solid foundation for the future, or are they in deep with the rest of us? I open this question up for anyone to answer so long as they adhere to austrian economics (which I wish I knew more about currently).

  • @PeterSchiffChannel I have a rather serious question with regards to my future; I'm curious as to the outlook for the Japanese economy for the next 5-10 years. I realize that no one has the ability to see that far into the future, but just assuming for a moment that Japan maintains their current policies, what's their future look like? The reason I'm asking is because I am fluent in Japanese, and have a very real opportunity to live there. I'm aware the Japan is currently inflating their -

  • nice to see a younger newscaster that actually knows what he's talking about

  • obama created a job for a beaurocrat to dislike this

  • Keep educating everyone Peter!

  • One person who saw this video has Stockholm Syndrome. It has fallen in love with it's captors.

  • Goodbye beny bucks...hello more Silver!

  • MORE smoking hot DUDES like this guy on RT!! Give the gays more eye candy as they try to digest this aweful news..let's be fare...the girls are cute, but MORE cutie guys like this please!!!

  • @TroySmithforD fuck off homo

  • The things people like Peter Schiff and Ron Paul keep blabering on is this:The Business Cycle in 5 min, watch?v=GU-FXv2VlK0

  • This show is meant to attract gay doomsayers? where the tits?

  • I would gladly vote for a box of orange juice over Obama. I would gladly vote for a dog, a rabbit, a bird, a blade of grass, over Obama.

And the sad part is that he will probably be re-elected in November.

  • @hailholyghost he better not Im thinking h'e fucked

  • @hailholyghost I could definitely go for a monkey that knows how to check the veto box.

  • @hailholyghost ron paul will !!

  • @ElementHDMac If Ron Paul wins the nomination, I will happily vote for him. However, I'm not optimistic about his chances :(. I'll probably end up voting 3rd party in November.

  • good interview

  • Food prices aren't going to be high for me. I've been stocking up on canned foods. I'm working on a 2 year supply of food, water, and gold so when this hits the fan I will be thriving, not just surviving and I urge everyone out there to do the same

  • Bring back the smoking hot women to RT. I don't want to see no freaking dude!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rudemood2011 RT only had plain women

  • @rudemood2011 You're suppose to be watching this for information gathering and understanding not for eye candy. If you want a derivative of bread and circus, watch Fox.

  • Owebama needs to wear a t-shirt that says, "I'm from the government and I'm here to help".

  • Dead wrong doomer. DJIA less than 10% from ALL TIME HIGHS!

  • yap yap yap some old shit diff day. this shit is getting old. Let's just hope god flushes this toilet globally.

  • Time for the US to invade India. Yea right

  • What kind of ending is that !?!?!

  • Peter's upset cause Lauren's not interviewing him.

  • Interviewer does a great job and has great questions. He is much better than anyone on FOX, CNBC, or MSNBC could ever do.Keep this guy around for more!

  • This is a VERY scary video on the future.

  • I enjoy what Peter has to say (as always), but this kid really needs lessons on how to conduct an interview. Too much talking by the host when the purpose is to hear what Peter has to say.

  • @kccountrykid maybe, but he's better than the goofs that interview him from the major networks

  • @kccountrykid On the plus side: doesn't interrupt, isn't an idiot, knows the true problems. So I'm willing to trade that for any other news channel talking head. ;)

  • wow...a smart reporter with a clue, oh yeah this isn't CNN.

  • Seems like a smart kid but he takes a little too long to ask the questions.

  • @1972challenger

I actually appreciated the way he set up the questions. He made sure Peter knew exactly where he was coming from, before just logging an arbitrary question at him, like most pundits do.

  • @TheCapitalistdog I see what you're saying but with the limited time in the segment I just wanted to hear more from Schiff. Def agree most pundits don't get it though.

  • Peter what the heck are you doing on Russian television ?

  • @Amyls64 RT America... just like CNN international

  • @az4paul Oh another propaganda station? I mean I know Peter is telling the truth.. However They are not interested in the truth as the way peter sees it. They are interested in using the truth to show the world how bad America is..Peter wants to Help America. I dont think he if he was talking about how great the economy is here that they would have him on even if it was true.

  • @Amyls64 RT is the only TV in the USA that broadcasts the truth of what is really going on. CNN is so biased it is sickening.

  • Trade wars, currency wars WW1, trade wars, currency wars WW2, whats happening now? trade wars, currency wars. Since history always repeats, guess whats next!

  • we need to be innovative @ this time a design a new way of life, everyone is trying to hold on to the old way of life, when we need to be looking forward and at least consider a new way, the same way a corporation will re-innovate itself

  • @moesart1982 I disagree. We need to go back to our old way of life prior to the Fed Reserve. It has been creeping and crawling to this for 100 years now. Government getting a little larger and more burdensome each decade. Free Market doesnt mean that the government decides on energy, interest rates, who gets loans, who gets subsidies, what prices should be.

The problem is, people think we are living in a Free Market environment when we really havent done that since 1912.

  • @yougottabekiddinmee the reason why government steps into place is because along with free markets come discrimonation and biest behaviors, thus the reason for government regulations. i know you might not want to here this butsome has to tell you think out side the box, chalenge your self to come up with a new system, and give it some real thought, people with money will always be able to pursuade there agenda, this is a side effect of free market

  • @moesart1982 You need to realize that the only way Corporations get power is because the government gives it to them with subsidies, regulations, and laws. The government is not writing regulations to protect you. The Medical industry writes the regulations for their own industry and the government votes it in place. You need to wake up to reality.

How did the bankers get their money? The government officials gave it to them.

    Government has too much power.

  • @yougottabekiddinmee DUDE WE WILL JUST HAVE TO AGREE TO DISAGREE IDEA OF GOING BACK IN TIME IS WACK, AND LAZZY THIS IS THE TIME FOR FUTURISM OUR TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCE WOULD ALSO KILL CAPITALISM IN AMERICA. ITS A NEW DAY FOR CHANGE (TIME TO BE CREATIVE AND INNOVATES)

  • Voter fraud is the biggest issue in America right now. This stands in the way to getting a president in that will do huge cuts to help us recover. If you can become a vote monitor in the hand counted state please visit WatchtheVote on Facebook. Thanks for considering.

  • He's right. We're getting close. Iran and India have now worked out a deal to trade oil in their own currencies, dumping the dollar. This completely bypasses the way oil has been traded and threatens the dollar. If this spreads, and it will, the dollar will collapse.

  • @tomperanteau India said to pay in GOLD. No who says gold is not money?

  • @flahr1 Gold or their currency. Gold is the only solid currency. No one has said that gold is not money.

  • @tomperanteau "No one has said that gold is not money."

The fed sees it as an 'asset' (from a direct question asked by Ron Paul).

I agree that it is a form of money as well as a commodity.

  • @TWSceptic Yea, the Fed sees a lot of things that are not so. Perhaps one day they will learn how things really are.

  • @tomperanteau People do say that gold is not money -- just a store of value

  • @flahr1 I meant that no PAPER is changing hands, and that is BIG

  • @flahr1 The dumb excuses you'd get is something along the lines of ' well india just has a tradition of liking gold' which is true but doesn't address the truth in your face that YES it IS MONEY.

  • @tomperanteau I believe China and Russia have a similar deal.

  • @Unkn0wnGuy They do. Soon to mean the collapse of the dollar.

  • @tomperanteau China and Russia and China and Japan have done the same thing. Using their own currencies to trade between each other, bypassing using the dollar. Look it up

  • @scikoolaid The US debt holdings of China and Russia have also been dropping dramatically over the past few months.

  • @scikoolaid I know. I read this several months ago.

  • @tomperanteau... This is probably why the US politicians wants to bomb Iran. They went into Iraq to stop oil being traded in the Euro.

  • @Klarkedude In our office the attorney and myself have been watching and researching this for several years, and it appears you are right. We war in order to steal oil (or whatever) from other countries. Our bad for allowing criminals into our political system.

  • @tomperanteau I don't think they will let the dollar completely collapse. I think it will take a severe beating, then the planners will have to grudgingly go back to gold/silver.

  • @joepeeler34 I'm not sure that "they" will have a choice. Printing trillions of dollars they borrow has so-weakened the dollar that it may collapse on its own, even without what India and Iran are doing. When we borrow, there is nothing that we have as collateral except the value of the workforce. There isn't the gold backing, so what we borrow has to be printed. More printed money dilutes the dollar much as more water in lemonade makes more, but tastes worse. Makes the dollar worthless.

  • @tomperanteau Sure, they are currently debasing the dollar as a matter of policy. Prices would be falling right now if not for the FED's money printing--though they don't literally print the money. It's digital accounting money. Only about 3% of the money supply is tangible paper notes.

I think there will be a wave of high inflation that hits suddenly. Who knows what triggers it. People may slow purchase or tsy's, or interest rates may spike for another reason.

Complete collapse of $ ? No

  • @joepeeler34 Yea, of course it is all digital. The print comment was a metaphor from the past. The only place you and I will part ways is on the complete collapse - aka hyper inflation. All my investments are in tangibles, and for that reason.

  • @tomperanteau

Why do you think the US is trying to start a war with Iran? Iraq wanted to dump the dollar too........ then bam we had to go get the terrorists..... despite 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia........

  • @DowellForPASenate I'm not disagreeing with what you say. I know that the American politicians want to wage war for oil. That's why we are trying to get rid of the criminals in our government. They stole our country while we were asleep.

  • Peter, spot on once again!!
