Okay, so I just watched this movie for the first time a couple of nights ago and I'm a little confused by this part. I thought these people had nothing to due with supernatural happenings on 606... so why did they not help her when she was locked in? Did they not really hear her?

Sometimes the plot gets a little confusing, but the acting between these 2 characters is amazing!
