@Bairdovitch yah really, are you stupid? Use a knife??? How? .410 shotgun is the safest most responsible way to dispatch halibut. people who complain about it on these vids know NOTHING, probably don't even know where Alaska is much less spent time on a fishing boat there.
You look like noobs. holding your finger on the trigger like that. all it took was a small wave and the only head shot would have been the one off your friend to the left. total crap fisherman. no class, no respect, most likely illegal as well.
''great job'' ? WTF ? what's not a ''great job'' you fished a dead one, no effort, fake fisherman, wtf dude, come on, try to hook 'em outta water, like the old days uh?
For safety purposes, they shoot all Halibut over about 60 pounds. The flopping fish can destroy the boat, break your leg and will destroy the meat of the Halibut. Who wants to eat muchy halibut.
@TheIronicBanana Lol... Yes! I haven't caught one, but If I would caught one I wouldn't use a shotgun at least :S I like being original. Neither do you n,n

i think you need to shoot it with a sniper around 100 feet away.. that way you dont shoot the boat
natenatnathan 7 months ago
You have to shoot them before you get them in the boat. If they are big enough, they can flop around and break your leg.
