I'm probably not the best person to comment on this since I've only watched bits and pieces of the different versions of this play, but from what I see and hear Haruno Sumire sounds like one of the best Deaths, vocal-wise.
@MillaTalonHand I definitely agree. IMO, the only other Death with similar vocal power was Zunko, but I personally prefer Osa's playfully wicked Death to Zunko's icy cold, emotionless Death.
Well said. Osa added just the right amount of clever wickedness to the character just enough for it to leave an impression, without being the character's single trait. Little things, like the way she clutches at Elisabeth's hair, the dark stare she gives before kissing Rudolf, all those little elements just made Osa MY Death.
