find you a master, or if you can't because there is not in your area, find you a "teacher",
learn all you can form him/her, physically guided by an external person, and in specifical surroundings (the school of the master/teacher or the nature locations chosen by him/her),
then, after months and years of practice guided by them,
you will be able to refine your own knowledge with books and ancient texts,
peaopl who want to ty to learn traditional chinesemedicine and/or qi gong, should not, in no way, try those techniques based on youtube videos or books.
IN NO WAY;
those are miillenium old technics that are highly efficient in influencing and reorganizing the different energetic bodies of any human being.
by trying by yourself those technics based on youtube videos or books,
masters have to have , at least ,30 years of deep study of traditional chinese medicine, and radiate an aura that is intuitively perceived by any student
a teacher speaks and speaks and teaches what he thinks he knows
a master do not speaks, he cures and teaches mainly with the movements themselves and use as few words and concepts he can
1- the term "taoist" or "daoist" which is written here and repeated by the lady, is quite humoristic and only placed there to emphasize the "exotic " aspect of the method in front of occidental ignorants, since qi gong can only be taoist by definition
2- the term "esoteric" also because of the history and nature of qi gong is also "comic" and written and repeated by the lady for the same purpose
"esoteric " refers to hidden knowledge and will meke people think they learn the ultimate secret :-)
@astralseeker Ummm... my apologies, but you clearly don't know what you are talking about. There are several types of qigong in China, such as Wushu, Healing, Buddhist, Taoist, Scholarly, etc. Taoist is just one school of the rich history that is qigong. :-)

hello' and thanx for the video..but how i can understand for how long each positions, how many times and in what hours of the day i have to practice? thanx for your time and courtesy.^_^
Hi.... I have some suggestions... Try to hold each position as long as the instructor does... Often times these motions and positions are coordinated with breathing.. Also do as many repetitions as they suggest... But you should probably try to learn the whole thing directly from an instructor..right ? :)
My father, uncle and all men in my family were bald by the time they were 21. Many reasons for hair loss. At 28, I have a redeeding hairline and my hair has regrown in where it was gone. pics on the web at imperialtao
I must say this Master M.Z. Li demonstrates such relaxation in this series. I've checked out a few of his other videos and they confirm his living, breathing commitment to movement with relaxation. I'd love to see more of this whole set on dvd. It's really a wonderful set to do before a meditation to calm the mind or afterwards to flow with the still meditational mind.
awesome presentation of seated neigong.

the axe of marketing could also might have been, for instance:
"ancient esoteric taoist secret traditionnal chinese healing energetic etheric spiritual vital meditative hidden wise mysterious miraculous gymnatsique chi ki prana technique" :-) !!! :-)
but they choose 4 words .. you get the picture
that being said
qi gong is 1/5 of "Traditional Chinese Medicine"
there are numerous different styles school and "teachers"

Thank you for the Taoist practices.
I also have some videos about Taoism for health and longevity that others may find of interest.

Well I guess not even qigong can fight against your genetics, some simply lose hair and some don't depending on your genetics.
