I don't think one is really better than the other...the zil sounds almost like banging on sheet metal or something, it has a lot more of a hitting a ride bell sounds, I like the trashy industrial sound to it...the Wuhan sounds more like I think a traditional china would sound but I could see having both in the kit if you want to make different sounds.

@robertegnacheski Yeah but the thing is this is Zildjian's entry level this and this is the best Wuhan's got I wouldn't compare them on how expensive they are I mean Zildjian is more expensive because they are a more major brand and are probably more competitive with other brands like Sabian and Paiste. Try like the oriental trash or something and then you might as well not post a video because of how stupid it would look.

I think Wuhan is great for effects cymbals like chinas and splashes, because they oriental sound (made in China XD), but for crashes, rides and hi-hats I will probably go with Sabian or Zildjian :)

Wuhan makes awesome cymbals and for the price you can't beat them. They are probably the absolute best sounding cymbal out there for begginers or intermediate players and blow things like sabian b8's or zildjian zbt's away. I'm receiving the 16 inch crash today actually and i already have the 10 inch splash which has a very cool oriental sound and sound like a true splash much better than my b8 pro 8 inch splash. I am looking forward to getting a wuhan china and maybe ride oranother splash/crash

The ZBT series is the absolute worst and cheapest line of cymbals that Zildjian makes. Wuhan is great, i use an 18'' and soon to be 14'' china as well, but lets be real they dont compare to any decent china.

It's tough to beat Wuhan chinas. The sound is trashier and more aggressive than any china I've heard, plus, the price is astounding for what you get. Yes, they crack easily, but chinas are naturally thin, and even more expensive chinas are prone to breakage. The real nail in the coffin for other companies is that, for example, I can buy 5 20" Wuhans for the price of one 20" Sabian Paragon (prices according to guitar center's website). Checkmate, indeed.
