Wow...I was really confused before I actually decided to read your description. I thought that the first time was a duet between Alice and Perry! First I was impressed how Perry learned to sing so well in Swedish, but then I began to wonder how he managed to have such a female sounding voice and hit such high notes... :-D
In my opinion, Alice's vocals in her recording of "Mockingbird Hill", are even better than Patti Page's in her classic recordings of this song. Alice Babs may have been the best female popular singer at performing discordant harmonies. However, the Patti Page version of this song is my favorite. Patti's interpretations of her classic pop recordings are almost perfect.
Hi Marlean, I am so Happy you do like the song! I have ca. 28 english sheet music to that song, and also one sheet music from Sweden! I am still looking the the German sheet music "Auf der Alm in Tirol" the cover could by Rudi Palme!
TUSEN TACK för att du lade upp den här. Har letat efter den så länge. De spelade den alltid på P4 förut men inte nu längre. Är bara 28 år, men visst gillar jag gamla bra låtar för det! =)
Hi Thanks ever so much!
