This is crap. Certainly not a fair unbiased look at the current location of the farmers market. There were 2000 of about 100,000 citizens who supported the market's current location. 5% does not make an majority. The market is over on a dead part of town next to the casino, and an empty parking structure. Not really a showcase for tourists coming to the city is it?
no offense, but the market would do MUCH better somewhere else, it being behind colborne street is not good business, it should REALLY be in the old eaton centre, they arent doing much with most of it anyways, besides that building is at least attractive compared to the ugly brown and orange building its in now, no offense.
Hmm, what about using the old Canadian Tire on colborne for a new,improved farmers market?
I see it rotting there everytime I pass it.
