I respectfully disagree. The ice and higher speed keep you cooler while skating, and the adrenaline from the heightened danger makes the exercise easier, but hockey skating (not gliding around) is much more exercise than running, and I've never found it harder to stickhandle a ball than a puck. However, you're right that it's easier to shoot the puck while moving in hockey, but that's because you can't glide in running shoes.

This is a great hybrid hockey type sport. Looks fun to play. Doesn't seem hard, but I'm sure its super hard. Pros make it look easy

None of these idiots who say floorball is gay sport have tried it. I have played both - hockey and floorball. Actually in floorball you should have quicker feet, more endurance than in hockey. Passing, controlling ball is also tougher in floorball then in hockey.

@basterisk Last time I did skate was yesterday. Skating does less exercise than running, in hockey due to skating it is a lot easiet to stickhandle and shoot shots in movement.
