I have to admit, the mourning call of Eliza kinda sounded less like a lion noise and more like a howl. XD But I like the series so far. ^_^ Easier on the eyes and ears to see this version than the 60s one. (Not dissing, just stating an opinion, so please don't flame >_>)

I'm not sure why anyone's saying that this dub is bad.

It's not nearly as bad as the English dub of the '66 series. XD

By comparison, this dub is excellent.

In that one, pretty much everybody's names were changed, not just Kimba's.

And they edited the crap out of it. I had to stop watching cuz the edits were so painfully blatant.

I find it funny how Panja apparently knew the gender of his cub. The line seemed worded weird. In the original show he said after being shot, "As my dying request, if we have a son will you name him Kimba?" Of course, I think Kimba could be a girl cub's name too.

If you want to see him dead, watch part 9 of the movie Jungle Emperor Leo (better yet, watch the all ten parts. Its a great movie). This was dubbed by a lot of the Inuyasha voice actors. Kimba was Nobunaga, Janyse Jaud, and the Dobson brothers are in it as well.

made in 1989, released in the US 1997(or 1999). And no they didnt complete it because they attepmt it to release it as a "family film" by editing it as much as possible, but it failed when the violent episodes came in and it couldnt be done anymore.
