Probably because since they used to be arrow 1s, and every car was a cab car they converted that car into a coach but didn't change the window.

the Comet 1, I haven't seen that around in a couple of years. and also the stripes colors are still great.

And Im still dying to hear the horn on one of them... Only 3 or 4 of them Have K5LAs... The rest like this one have some type of 3 chime

I wasn't aware that any Comet Is had K5LAs. They are all Leslie S3Ls or Leslie S3Ks. Shots of them at crossings are rare. They're bells are distinctive though.

Not ALL of them, some have been replaced with K5LAs, Examples are 5109, 5119, 5121, and 5127, and theres more
