  • excellent advice-although because of my olympic lifting rutine i combine olympic back squats,cleans, and clean high pulls,my workouts last about 2 hours.but ffor pure back,30 minutes is perfect for stimulating testosterone.

  • if u want bigger back keep it simple just do heavy compound exercises for 30 min and eat right...

  • ater back work like this,the biceps certainly wont need anywhere near 20 sets-thick bar barbell curls-4x6,thick handle hammer curls-4x6,thick bar reverse curls-4x6.all done.if you find that this is still too much,simply reduce total sets or biceps.they recieve great stimulation from the hardcore back work.

  • blood and sweat back-deadlifts from floor-5x5,deads from the power rack with pins set below knees-5x5,power cleans or power snatch-5x1-3,clean and snatch grip high pulls 5x5,snatch grip shrugs-5x5.pick a couple of these exercises,hit them brutally hard,next week pick the others.weighted chins also as well as barbell rows-5x5.train,eat sleep!

  • Its not a terrible back workout it hits a lot of the back and you control the intensity anyway, there is no one good way to train your back if you do this and shock your muscles in your back it will be way more beneifical than doing a "good" back workout and not changing it, your sure to hit a plato a lot faster

  • @bigfrotes9912 I agree that it's harder to train larger muscle groups (for instance it's very hard for me to even feel sore after an intense back workout). But I think that my biceps are exploding withinin my 16th set (when you train your lats about 40% of the lift is done by the biceps). That's why I think that 20 is overtraining...

  • @fedegroxo 20 sets is overtrainig if ur a beginner, i do 30 sets 4 lats rowing pulldowns with narrow and wide grip,reverse and normal grip...U have 2 hit the muscle from all possible angles,grips,with free weghts machines bodyweight...2 grow big,that for all muscles

  • I'll go ahead and save u some time, here is a 12 set back workout with better results

    1. Lat pulldowns 3x8-12

    2. Isolated dumbell rows 3x8-12 each arm

    3. T- Bar rows 3x8-12

    4. Pullups(dropset to 50 reps)

My opinion is that this is not a very good back workout. You apparently don't agree with me, and that's great too ;-) Whether I make vids or not, I don't like this back workout...but hey, he got traffic from me and I watched the entire thing and I'm engaging in dialogue...all things that help support his site.

  • @azt3c mate, start doing some reverse grip bicep curls with a flat or EZ bar. keep it nice and slow and controlled and then follow it up with hammer curls. its your wrist extensor muscles that control your grip strength. dont over do it though cause ur forearm muscles get mad doms!

  • @Narutoonepiecefan3 just hold the dumbbell with your ankles by crossing your legs. All you need really is a pullup bar and just alternate your grip and position, these exercises are for more advanced people so it's best to just stick to calisthenics for now until you completely dominate your body weight

  • @MrEstk thats bullshit.... just dont get too much into heavy squats and deadlifts for the first year, try to work on your core muscles. Your growth will not be stuck.

  • 24 sets is a good number for softgainers. I would set deadlifts on the end instead of the lower back training. It will help to get absolutely all power out of the back.

  • last exercise is also for glutes and hams i do it when i cant do deads cuz it targets the same muscles

  • thats pretty overloaded. you can get the best results with 3 sets of deadlift, 3 sets of some kind of rows and 3 sets of lat pulldown or pullups... And its going to build strength way better than this.

    But i got to say that the exercises were perfect clean
