  • This is great. I watched the vid, ran into my shop, turned a quick oak piece and tried your technique. Best finish I've ever gotten... I've always done my wet sanding at 600 - 700 rpm, so I was a bit nervous about twisting the speed knob to "11" to wet sand (Micro-Mesh). I just kept a light touch, kept dripping some water to keep things cool and lubricated and then buffed it out with Mothers Mag Polish (even finer than the finest micro-mest) and then plastic polish. You rock!

  • Thanks for that mate. Cheers.

  • great money saving tip on the activator, but any ideas what the equivalent would be in the UK? greats vids by the way, regards Matt.

  • According to research, for us Yank's via the IAP forum... Lysol is the product equivalent to Glen 20... Thanks for the money savin' tip.
