For fuck sake, It's only Bangalter's but it has been released under the nickname Bob Sinclar. Bob Sinclar was actually the concept of an album in which titles are produced by many djs under the same nickname. The bitch that you all know as Bob Sinclar now used this nickname to gain fame. It's not Thomas Bangalter feat Bob Sinclar, It's Thomas Bangalter under the nickname Bob Sinclar (which is a Jean-Paul Belmondo's character).
people saying Bob sinclair sucks should hear some of his early french house work. it was amazing. Bangalter is my favorite, of course, but Sinclair has been doing music even before Bangalter and David Ghuetta started like a dj even before the 90s. I think dis 3 djs deserve more respect
@Bikendi100 yé yé tomas is the best french touch!!!and this friend cassius !!!!! and now is ed bangers teams!!!!(justic! mr oiseaux !uffie!! busy p!!! dj medhi!!!!so great french touch!!!!!!!! bob sincler and david the bitch getha!!!is the best chit!!!lol
@Bikendi100 same... i dont see why people are bitching about specific french dj's for what they choose to do or whatever. they're doing better than i am.
what da fuk is wrong with people saying david ghetta and bob sinclair sucks???? STUPID BITCHES...dey are both 2 of the most amazin djs and musicians evah...perosnally, i prefer bangalter, hes my favorite ...but bob and david are also amazing
The DJ dropped this track at the club this last weekend. I went CRAZY! I was the only guy who knew this song. "TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT AND BACK!!!"
Bob & Thomas made it together, and Bob published it on his album without Thomas' permission, meanwhile, not giving any credit to Thomas... This caused problems, as it samples audio from a Jane Fonda workout video...
1) In early 1998, a French DJ & manager of the Yellow Production Label, "Chris the French Kiss" had this idea to make a concept album : gathering various artists who would anonymously create songs under the generic name of "Bob Sinclar".
2) In March 1998, "Chris the French Kiss" goes to the Miami Winter Conference and by coincidence, he's in the same plane as than Thomas Bangalter & all his friends that go to Miami to present the new concept "Stardust" (which was dope btw).
3) Chris talks with Bangalter in the plane, and he ends up in a Miami restaurant & eventually in their hotel with Bangalter, Guy Man de Homem Christo, Pedro Winter, Zdar from Cassius, etc presenting his project and asking Thomas to join in.
4) Thomas says ok, because he likes the idea. As a counterpart, Chris the French Kiss will be allowed to make an official Stardust Remix of Music Sounds Better With You under the Bob Sinclar generic name.
5) Back in Paris, Chris the French Kiss gives a sample from Bad Mounthin (Motown) to Bangalter. But Bangalter extracts another sample from the same track and uses Jane Fondas voice, that he had kept for a long time.
6) Listening to the tune, Chris understands that he has a HOT track in his hands. Bangalter writes a quick note, as a contract, where he specifies that he gives all copyrights to Chris, that he does not want his name anywhere on the future album credits, and that the song shouldnt be relased as a single. (They had no rights to use neither the sample from Motown, nor the voice from Jane Fonda)
7) Chris the French Kiss sends a Bob Sinclar album (in which he did all the other) preview to journalists & DJs. The feedbacks are excellent, all the greatest DJs ask for remixes but for Gym Tonic remixes. This song is an earthquake, the ultimate hit!! Everyone around Chris tells him that this track is a bomb.
8) Chris cannot release a single, but he wants to release an E.P with Gym Tonic for promotion only that should not be sold. He tries to contact Bangalter & Pedro Winter (Bangalters manager at the time) without success. He gives his OK for the E.P release for promotion only, but the E.P will be sold as a regular one in lots of music stores.
9) Meanwhile, seeing that the Bob Sinclar = conceptual artist has become Bob Sinclar = Chris The French Kiss, and that a Gym Tonic E.P is sold in stores, calls his lawyers, etc trials etc
WRONG Bob made it but Thomas co produced it. the only reason it wasn't released was because they couldn't get clearance for the sample from the work out video, not because of anything else, it was then covered by "spacedust" how had direct influence from stardust's song music sounds better with you, witch Thomas produced with Alan Braxe & Benjamin Diamond
So, in conclusion do your research before posting bull shit !!!!!
His first club hit was "Gym Tonic", which was co-produced by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, featuring vocals illegally taken from a Jane Fonda fitness tape.

Just read "French Touch : Des raves aux supermarchés, l'histoire d'une épopée électro" from Stéphane Jourdain, and you'll see what's the truth and not the official version. Bob lied, Thomas Bangalter didn't say anything and the justice figured out the affair. The whole story outlined is on the french Wikipedia if you speak french.
