This is the official video? Looks like they got a first year film student to do it. Anyway I love this song but had totally forgotten about it since it doesn't play on regular radio anymore. A few weeks ago I heard it but it was Chad Kroeger from nickleback doing vocals. I was confused because up until then I had only heard the Alex band version. I think both singers have similar voices(though Chad's more gravelly) I like both versions.
@vidlvr99 Yeah Nickelback's record label didnt want Chad Kroeger in a high profile video in 03 because they thought it would jeopardize record sales for "the long road" so chad recommended alex band.....prolly cuz he sounds almost just like him. both versions were released in the U.S.....make no mistake tho....the song was wrote chad kroeger and santana.

@Studee1Hannah2 in fact the original version was made by santana and chad, bud chad wasn't able to record it so he suggested alex for the vocals, then, later, he recorded it with santana :)
@jorugby1988 you're entitled to your opinion, but I don't like Kroeger nor Nickelback. his voice is raspy.. especially in his version of this song. Alex's is smooth and lovely.
I like both versions of this song, but I personally like the one with Chad better. To me it just fits better. I still like this though, I listen to The Calling. But besides them, Santana is one of my ultimate favorite people. He. Is. The Shit. I love him. Haha :)

@Studee1Hannah2 in fact the original version was made by santana and chad, bud chad wasn't able to record it so he suggested alex for the vocals, then, later, he recorded it with santana :)

I like both versions of this song, but I personally like the one with Chad better. To me it just fits better. I still like this though, I listen to The Calling. But besides them, Santana is one of my ultimate favorite people. He. Is. The Shit. I love him. Haha :)
