  • that dose not look e z

  • How they go pi??

  • you are definitely a reincarnated dress maker from years ago!!

  • how did you made this?

  • this is so lovely, well done! I wish I could find a hoop that size in retail!

  • HOW DID WOMEN GO TO THE BATHROOM?!?!?!?!?!

  • @Muncchiii I don't understand how did they even sit down? I suppose they did not... :D

  • you have an amazing accent!

  • That is amazing. Very beautiful.

  • how do you fit threw the door?

  • @MILLONAIREZxx4EVER Doorways were often built wider back then. However the boning in the actual hoop is very flexible and will 'collapse' momentarily while passing through a narrow doorway.

  • Please can you do a video tutorial of making this big hoop, there is nothing on the intenret to help with this size hoop only little hoops. I really want to make my own becuase i'm so small, I buy the 6 bone hoops skirts on ebay but have to remove the bottom ring becuase it drags along the floor, but then the hoop is shorter and I loose that bit of extra circumference at the bottom. It would be so helpful to see how it is done.

    Thanks

  • I like the petticoat even better than the dress. :) So pretty.

  • I love!

  • that is amazing ! I would so love to know where you get your patterns, I have a book here at home with patterns from 1600 - 1800 patterns but I find it soo difficult to make those dresses + I've seen that most of them have a 'skirt part' and a bodice part, so that they are two separate things... don't really understand why that is :p and where do you get those fabrics? I really don't have a clue where to get those.. your video's are trully amazing !

  • I am in awe! bravo!

  • I just love the whole thing. My skrits are long and flowy. But I don't wear a hoop. I would love to try one someday.

  • Great you beautiful girl!! but i think you need a little bit of help!! :D

  • Thank you all :))

I made the whole costume myself (I'm a professional costumer and I'm alway happy about every inquiery ;) ) but you can get equally big crinolines on ebay (at least at ebay.de , just google for "reifrock 600")

  • Where did you get that hoopskirt i want one....please let me know

  • I love this video, at last I can see the actuall hoop, I am hoping you or someone can tell me where you buy them from, I live in the uk & searched evrywhere for a big hoop for my Disney Giselle dress, but the biggest I could find was on ebay, a six bone one. I love your peticote it's gorgeous!

  • Is that a Swedish accent I hear? I like it.

  • @kayjo101. She's German, not Swedish.

  • That's an amazing dress!

Props for wearing a petticoat over the hoopskirt - because seeing the hoop's bones isn't the best look out there...

    But you look fantastic.

And I like those boots too. :)

  • as frugal as they had to be back then, i still can't get how they used so much fabric for such a huge gown lol. they looked neat though.

  • i had a friend that used to do this, oh she made some beautiful gowns. she made them all herself and went to reenactment parties. i never got to go but had fun looking at the dresses when she would bring a new one over or the videos were cool to watch. u look fab!

  • Wow, that dress is big! ..and beautiful! :) What materials have you btw used in crinoline, because it seems to keep it´s shape so perfectly.

  • convert the world to such femme fashions!-YES PLEASE DO

  • Were the skirt so wide at that time?! How did the men feel walking with ladies dressed like this? :-)

  • meine Liebe, ich wusste garnicht, dass die Taille und der Rockmiteinander vernäht sind... Ist das überhaupt noch historisch korrekt, oder wollte dein Kunde es einfach einfacher zum anziehen haben?

  • Wonderful video! You are a princess! Keep up the great work and convert the world to such femme fashions!

  • Delicious! The hoop is amazing and the crinoline is so frothy. Did you purchase these from retail or did you have them custom made for you? You would have made a fine southern belle...

  • beautiful the days when females were so feminine, mini skirts Yuck you can keep them

  • Ohhh sehr schönes Video, hier kann man gut sehen wie es sich gehört ein Kleid aus der zeit 1860 zu tragen.

  • Have you thought about making a ballgown for this?
