Thank the internet for ruining another fishing hole. I like to help people out but if you do it on here and give location it usually gets fished out and ruined from the slobs that are out there. Not calling anyone here a slob but there are more out there than you think. Everyone is me me me me me.
@fishman644 I do try and help anglers catch more fish by giving them as much info. as I can on tackle, presentation and also location. As you know, good fishing is all a matter of timing. You can be on the best spot, but if the timing is wrong it's easy to get skunked. I am hoping that anglers who use the information I give them will have enough integrity to respect people's private property and use common sense when they are fishing any areas...God bless you, Italo
i suggest that people leave that spot on the cannal alone because that is our back yard and there is 5-8 boats there all the time now and the fish that you can pull out of there are tiny when they used to be almost frying pan sized, and people arnt respecting our back yards, they are leaving there garbage in the water and deficating over the side of the boats and it is disgusting! and the worst part is, its so busy now i cant even fish in my own back yard!
@dabdabman I'm really sorry to hear people are so dis-respectful with the private property that is there. I only fished it very early in the spring last year before any boats were in the water and only saw one other boat fishing the canal....God bless you, Italo
Several false complaints of fully-automatic fire and the usage of prohibited firearms were made to both the police and a national Canadian newspaper (The Toronto Star).
While the police investigated on multiple occasions and were not once able to confirm these sensationalist and false allegations, a former fashion reporter from The Toronto Star accepted the complaints as the gospel truth. This actually led to a government agent recklessly banning target-shooting at the Nonquon. For shame.
@Bass123Angler Thank you for your kind words. The area we were fishing is right on Scugog Island and it's called Canal Road (we fished the canal). Hope you catch lot's of fish....God bless you, Italo
@MrWalleye I think the MNR has recognized panfish especially like crappie and bluegill need to be harvested in greater numbers. That's probably the main reason why they opened up the Kawartha Lakes, ON to ice fishing. They are hoping anglers will make a dent in their population explosion. The question though is, is it too late?....God bless you, Italo

They grow fast because they eat all the walley fry. KEEP ALL CRAPPIES. Kill a crappie save a walleye!
