Ok people, its the same damn thing as shooting of model rockets, which are LEGAL, just this is fired from a gun, which is easyr if you ask me, as long as you dont shoot some one, or blow somthing inportant up it is legal.

@MrBillLumberg also people using this small piece of information should know the danger they're causing themselves by making a very large amount (which I'd say is over 10grams personally) 7 grams takes long enough to do so I do halves.

I'm sure no one who uses my information would buy the top quality stuff which has the ability to auto ignite, I don't use top quality either and I sacrificed a sample 3grams (flash) as a test to see instability, it did not light when smashed with a hammer, or ignite sometimes when a flame was put into it, when it did go off using proper ignition I stuck a piece of card next to it without any damage(non glazed card) from the firecracker type thin

Hey, im starting a project making a rocket launcher out of pvc pipes, and I was wondering what chemicals did you use for your rocket? I mean I have the rocket launcher all taken care of, its the munitions im confused, I thought of using sugar and KNO3, but after seeing those rockets going wrong, Im afraid it might go off on my shoulder, and possible kill me -_-

@StetsonForever The sugar and KNO3 is possibly the safest that u can get, still very harmfull but the safest. Except if u wanne use mentos and coke :S

the only concern i'd have is not blending the two powders finely enough, they are pretty safe to stick into a coffee blender, it might be less messy if you do them separately though. the reason is is because it begins to ignite very slowly and wont launch instantly if they're not fine powders which will cause the explosive to go off on a shorter fuse.

I used flash powder in my second stage. I fired them off at the beach away from people, wildlife, and shrubbery.

@wasaki101 wrong, in the United States if you do not have the proper permits it is a Class C felony which means depending on the judge you spend 1 -5 years in jail and have some nasty fines, not to mention a record that will make it so it is hard to get a job anywhere
