FYI:it works on the mytouch 4g perfectly

1.make sure your itunes it up to date

Sometimes the android app will disconnect from the Itunes when I leave the phone idle and I have to reenter the code and then accept on my Itunes again. How do I set it so my Itunes doesn't forget to just accept the device? Is it a connection issue?

This remote also works with our MonkeyTunes app for MediaMonkey. It essentially pretends like it is ITunes so those of you that use MediaMonkey can rejoice. Just google "Melloware Monkeytunes"

wouldn't find my library so I entered ip manually with 0000 as pairing code. clicked android device in itunes and entered 0000 code from phone. Phone when back to search for library for a sec. or 2 then popped back to pairing with library with a 2nd android device in itunes. What am i doing wrong?

For me, using my exact ip given by my router, not a website, so may be similar to 10.0.x.x or something like that . I use a mac and an airport extreme. once had the exact problem you did.

when I plug mine into my pc it doesnt show "android device" on itunes. It doesnt even recognize that a device is even plugged in. Have any ideas to why its doing that or how I can fix it?

The iTunes remote application works via a network, as was shown in the video. It does not work via a USB cable.

Have your G1 connect to your wireless network, install the app as shown, let it find your iTunes library (after setting it up to accept library connections, I'd imagine), enter the code, and then you can control iTunes.

Pay more attention to the instructions and you'd understand them :V
