Kingdom Hearts 3 will most likely come in 2015. The 3DS version is coming out soon in Japan, while Tetsuya Nomura said that he'll finish Versus XIII after and then go for Kingdom Hearts 3. In the meantime, they should do a Collection of KH1, PS2 Chain of Memories and KH2. That would be good for in the meantime. Perhaps they could do a Collection of Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance for PS3 also. We'd have the entire, important, storyline of KH ON PS3!! Make it happen Square!!

There is something I don't get. People (not everyone) say that they want KH3 on the PS4. So, there's a PS3 out, which is a great system, and has a great price, and you want a game system that'll probably be out for maybe $700+ at the time to be the only supporter of a great game that you've waited 7-10 years for. And then you dumb bastards complain about how there are too many systems that cost you too much money. What happened to common sense? Has it gone down the shitter? Obviously it has.

@bikram1122 Don't worry, considering it's been confirmed by the creator that the 3DS game's story leads directly into KH3 I seriously doubt Sony would have their newest system out by the time KH3 is ready. Seriously, I don't think that Squenix would be dumb enough to wait until they can work with the new system specs and release it for Sony's next Overly-Expensive system. Just like PS2 games were still being made for quite some time after PS3 came out.

You guys, Just so you know, Nomura (Father if Kingdom Hearts and recent Final Fantasies) won't start working on Kingdom Hearts III until AFTER Final Fantasy Versus XIII is 100% finished, which he hopes to happen by the end of 2012 or early 2013.

Judging by how long Versus has taken thus far, I'm sorry to say he probably won't be starting KHIII until 2013.

Then we have to wait for production etc etc.

Let's all mourn the long wait together now, shall we?

You might be suprised as to why he looks like Roxas, amongst many other things. However, if you plan on playing this game, I wouldn't look it up since there are tons of spoilers. @HadesLordofDeath In 358/2 there are some tidbits that relate to birth by sleep, which chronologically, came before 358/2 days (just in case you didn't know). Birth by Sleep is before everything else happens and should be watched first to understand some bits in 358/2 days. Personally, I don't think 358/2 is very necessary to watch though.

Absent the wise found him and took him in as an apprentice..during this time as his apprentice, Xehanort started researching the darkness inside of hearts and such..and began performing experiments on people with the help of some others(who would later turn into nobodies and become members of the organization). Something happens to Xehanort and he is split in two..a heartless(absent) and a nobody(xemnas).... Hope that cleared some stuff up :D

They are two different people yes, but if you remember the beginning of ven's story, part of his heart was gone, and a certain person helped fill it back up. Because of this, when sora 'killed' himself in kh1, he created roxas, and roxas took the shape of ven since ven was in sora. So, they are the same, yet two, different people.
