  • Hemp 4 Fuel!!!!!

  • If these two blithering idiots interviewers aren't the perfect examples of YUPPIES I dare say you will not find any other this stupid that would be caught on video.

  • Why did the guy say biodiesel contained less carbon than regular diesel at about 1:07? It's more environmentally friendly because you're reusing a waste product rather than using petroleum. It is cleaner burning, but it's more fundamentally sustainable from a lifecycle assessment perspective, not a chemical one.

  • 7 minutes long... take off your coat and stay awhile.

  • Well, i heared of a discovery that in the philippines someone used water (H2O) to run a vehicle with its engine unmodified. don't really know if this is true. But if it is how come it is not intorduced or used?

  • ____ w w w diymagneticmotor com Go for FREE energy ~~~

  • Great video #UN#. Alternative fuels including Carbon nuetral biodiesel are the way of the future! Check out Hahn Environmentals youtube page and our website as we are launching some exciting initiatives in the alternative fuel and hydrocarbon industry.

  • A smart man being interviewed by the 2 dumbest people on earth.

  • @mengle2004

ROFLMAO.....I was wondering if someone was gonna say it!

  • The public transit agency here runs their buses on biodiesel. It may not be a long term alternative to petrolium. But, it's available right now and it works.

  • what kind of cars can use biodiesel? My Chevy 2011 Duramax 2500HD is running B20 and loving it... keeps the engine nice and clean too.

  • Alcohol fuel production actually lets us reduce carbon dioxide emissions, since the growing of plants ties up many times more carbon dioxide than is created in the production and use of the alcohol. Converting from a hydrocarbon to a carbohydrate economy could quickly reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide.

  • @mikehanoo33 Oil men of today, our former president Bush being one of them, would not tolerate anything that they cannot control.

  • Alcohol carries none of the heavy metals and sulfuric acid that gasoline and diesel exhausts do. And straight ethanol’s evaporative emissions are dramatically lower than gasoline’s, no more toxic than what you’d find in the air of your local bar

  • @markmorelia not so. biodiesel harms many injection pumps. also biodiesel does have a higher clouding point and harms many newer inectors. you should research further and read the american society of diesel engineers reports on biodiesel.

  • @circusboy90210 Good point, it will *RUIN* your ford or vauxhall/opel car as the injector pumps, injectors and fuel filter will not deal with biodiesel. Fuel companies add lubricants, adjust the acidity etc. Biodiesel eats through rubber seals over time. It's not as friendly as you think and provides poor economy. I tried it.

  • @urbex2007 it's alot more friendly to older diesels as they do not have this sulfur emission bs to deal with. kind of funny the dpf actually causes more fuel to be burnt hence more pollution. Green technology is not always better . I can rattle off a couple of dozen instances of how trying to help the eco has actually drastically backfired and caused more harm than the thing they were trying to fix. mtb in California, drilling close to the shore for oil, not allowing controlled burns. etc.

  • @circusboy90210 another reason for incompatibility with newer diesels is how the dpf affects comustion/ exhuast /temps it seems to cause the fuel to wash down the cylinder walls, hence polluting the motors lubrication source.(not good) another has to do with injectors themselves. diesels were built to run on petroleum. There is a myth that rudolph diesel invented the first of his creations to run on peanut oil but this was somthing the peanut industry wanted to happen.

  • look at the co host on the right, what a fag

  • This video is WAY too loud! Had to turn system WAY down to keep from blowing ears and speakers. -70 dB on my receiver means something is wrong.

  • yes, thats what he said

  • We are way past this now make your own fuel using Algae Fuel, Bio Diesel from Algae. 600 to 800 times the yield of land grown Fuel.

  • I heard from some people (oil and gas workers AKA: Biased) that it takes more than one litre of petroleum (through production) to produce one litre of biodiesel. Does anyone know if thats bullshit?

  • i think thats supposed to be ethanol that is less efficient...

  • @RafraiVert

there is absolutly no petroleum needed to produce biodiesel

the only thing that might be a bad thing on the production is that you kinda need to cook the fat to make the reaction with KOH take place

  • ok,i know that biodiesel cost more? they talk about it burning cleaner but what about it been more economical will my engine be more efficient???

  • biodiesel cost $00.46. right now

  • Depending on if you buy biodiesel or make it will change the cost. I make my own and it cost me $.27/gallon I also have been able to get a 58% increase in economy, but I made the engine more efficient and had to forgo more power to do so, but to each their own I guess.

  • @elqueesnebuloso Willy Nelson has his own brand of Biodiesel called "Bio Willy". It's a mix of biodiesel and petrolium diesel. The truckers who run bio willy say they get better gas millage than off just petrolium diesel.

  • thanks

  • what (cars) are ran of biodisel rightnow?

  • Biodiesel and ethanol primarily from recycled sources are the future of consumer fuels in the US and Canada.

  • Hey,anything that doesnt makes us fossil fuel dependant.

  • people need to wise up. all these gas companies are saying they are studying hydrogen because they know it will be decades before it will be available world wide. in the meantime we sit here drinking up fossil fuels. The oil companies dont want to look into biodiesel because it is available NOW and it would cut into their profits. We should turn our attention to somthing that is ready to be used right now and dosnt require highly flammable/combustable hydrogen!!!

  • Okay, I'm ready to swap my gas buring f150 for a diesel buring f250, and then make/buy biodiesel to run it. Who can tell me how that will work with a 2003 f250 turbo diesel engine in the southern USA? I'd prefer to run 100% Biodiesel, but I see that I can by B20 in many places nearby... Do I HAVE to run B20, or can i run B100?

  • In warm weather, you can run B100. In weather near freezing or below, run B20. If weather is "iffy", put some anti gel like Power Service in the tank - available at truck stops, places that work on diesels, sometimes even at wallyworld. Enjoy!

  • biodiesel 4 ever!!! lol now i whant a biodiesel car!:)

  • wow have ive been sleeping this whole time?!?! you can use biofuel in diesels!!

  • This could be the end of the oil industry. Ohh, my heart bleeds for the oil companies. Honest ;)

  • simply superb..for beginners...

    like me..

    thank alot...from india

  • sweeeeeet!

I run diesels for my carpet business and used to sell heavy-duty Freightliner trucks.

This makes way too much sense.

  • Check out how Jatropha weed can produce 10 times the amount of energy of corn, and 4 times of soy beans.

No chemicals required. Too bad for Monsanto...

  • What alott of people don't know is that the man that invented the diesel engine, Dr. Roudolph Diesel, designed it to run on peanut oil originally

  • @greywolf45 Very true. I am a mechanical engineer who designs engines. Diesel, oddly enough, disappeared in 1913 while on a ship crossing the English Channel on his way to meet partners preparing to build his engine. There is speculation that the petroleum industry was involved, however, this is not a proven fact.

  • @auxpower13 I wouldn't put it past them. I would love to see the old oil barons faces today at the popularity of Dr. Diesel's engine.

  • BQ9000 Biodiesel is made only from virgin oils from Canadian and American grown Soy and Canola. Some yellow grease sources may come on line by 2008.

You are referring to palm oil and the decades-old farming practices of Indonesia and Malaysia. It is innacurate and mislieading to associate SE Asian palm oil and these unfortunate farming practices with the North American biodiesel supply.

  • careful you dont start believing the hype being put out by oil companys. The deforestation is only an issue with palm oil which is not recommended for biodiesel you can use all veg oils and help make a diffrence.

  • You can find more information on biodiesel at: 4Refuel dotcom
