I killed a deer two years ago with a similar rack with one side looking like it was broken and healed over dropping down. I did confirm that was a genetic flaw, not a broken tine. Although it looks different than most drop tines, it is indeed still a genetic drop tine, not an injury as it would seem to be.

Let me say right off. The reference to May is not correct. This was filmed in August of 2007. Sometimmers kicked in I guess.
