  • @catscellar. . . GM, like Ford is a GLOBAL company. the Camaro for instance is probably my favorite "foreign" car (designed by a South Korean, chassis developed/tested in OZ, electronics made in east Asia, manual trans made in Mexico, Auto trans made in Japan, built in Oshawa Canada). Honestly i like a lot of Holden and even Vauxhall cars, and Ford's Aussie FPV and European Team RS make some great cars as well. I wish we'd get the Falcon brought to the US already even if only in Ute form.

  • HP wars are alive and well I love it and its good for everyone :-)

  • whats with the mustang hate? haha. i drive one, and i like my shelby better than this car. but im not here to say this car's shit or something. just drive what the fuck you want... who gives a shit

  • 15 ford employees wish they got a job with chev

  • Nice idea with bring back the COPO car but the problem is that the new Camaro is still a porker. Try getting the dimensions and weight down to what the new Mustangs are and then you've got something. This is from a Chevy fan that acknowledges that the newest Mustang is a far better product then the newest Camaro. Quit playing number 2 Chevy.

  • Awesome Camaro! Love the muscle car sound!

  • The Dodge challenger drag pack and now this.....The muscle car days r back

  • Car is ugly as shit

  • its about time someone came out with something to beat the mustang in double A stock

  • I hate it, and only because the put the copo name on it. if you remember the original copo, it looked like a stock camaro. no stripes, stock hood, NO flare at all. this thing is just over the top. should've but the yenko badge insted or something other than copo

  • is it wrong that i want one?

  • quiero dormir y soñar con el

  • how come SHE gets to open the door!? lucky bitch.. :)

  • That hood does not fit well.

  • @NoClassic u r right mate

  • Cool deal! I just who wrote the rule that every car/motorsports video has to have a shitty generic heavy metal soundtrack.

  • First return of a factory cammed muscle car? and a Magnacharger to go with. I hope so.

  • Itd be nice to see Trans Am racing back to shut the little ricers and import jerk offs up

  • This better rape all Mustangs.

  • if this was chevys attempt to one-up the cobra jet, they failed

  • o hell yea

  • Make some passes in it Doc....

  • when they start to open the door it sounds like a dog barking hahahaha

  • How many ZL1s are there now like 3

  • Awesome, but still love my Stang... Never hurts to love both!!

  • Amazing comments from the haters......We should all be rejoicing that the big 3 are waking up and giving us what we want.

  • @SDRacing88 Im glad we can argue

  • @lion69962446 - well since you put it like that.......true...true.

  • V10 DP Challenger vs. Cobra Jet vs. COPO Camaro = Something wicked comes this way!

  • They had to make something to hang with the Cobra Jet Mustang and the Ford Cobra Jet is not a concept car it can be bought now!

  • Hell yeah

  • I'd definitely buy this.

  • more info ?????

  • @mmmmhonda

Ahh dirtbikes, that makes sense, I had a xr80r when i was smaller

  • @corvettesrule101 to be crap

  • Schweeeeeeet!!

  • OMG.!! I love this car...

  • camaros fail in comparison to chargers and the shelby gt500

  • @MisterMainiac u can leave now kthxbi

  • @MisterMainiac lol? you are a moron.

  • They have two engine packages listed with more to follow. A 5.3 ltr LSX block with a 2.9 whipple supercharger like in the video and a LS7natural aspirated package, both targeted for different classes in nhra. Its listed on their website gm performance parts.

  • You crazy, sexy 1/4 mutherfucking beast, Camaro!

  • With its looks, only the hood changed.

  • what can't get back into IROC again so you're making up your own custom style and name now? trying to understand why someone would want something obviously built for trac to drive on the street every day.

  • @daddytech Gotta compete with the Ford Cobra Jet

  • @daddytech The name's not recently made up, it's been around for over 40 years at least. COPO = Central Office Production Order, and was the way GM sold specially equipped fleet vehicles. There was a time when GM refused to put massive engines (over 400 cubic inches) into their midsized cars, but using a COPO, a dealer could get around that. The original ZL1 Camaro from '69 was a COPO.

  • @gogmorgoaway Interesting, had no idea there was such a thing or that it would have anything to do with the main manufacture facility. so you could escentially buy a track ready race car straight from GM then using the COPO Program then? or did i miss something else with the explanation still? i.e. 2012 camaro with a chevy 502 crate blue printed, balanced and fully blown matched up to a really torque heavy transmission and rear end.

  • @daddytech I don't know if they're still operating that way, but essentially, yes. Mind you, you'd have to get a bunch, because it's still a fleet order.

Quite a few of Don Yenko's "super cars" were COPO vehicles with slight tweaking and his own badging. I don't really know of any other dealers or people who exploited the system quite as much as he did.

  • @gogmorgoaway interesting! thanks for the info. i had no idea they even did things like that. thought all the addons were totally aftermarket stuff

  • @daddytech Well, with the Yenkos, some of them were completely aftermarket, and even the COPO's had a bunch of aftermarket parts thrown on by Yenko. GM only installed their own parts, after all.

  • Awesome

  • Well that was a long video!

  • I saw this coming

  • How much power??

  • @kcmo110l

More than Enough for you & I would probably ever need, especially on surface streets, and then some... ;)

  • @kcmo110l Sufficient.

  • Nice car horrible power adder choice!

  • i think i just came.

  • oh good it looks like they stripped out all the useless thing i wouldnt want like power things, air conditioning and a radio and left just performance FINALLY :D

  • AW HELL YEAH!

  • Hell Yeah!!!! Chevy COPO! Beware Mustang lovers. This beast is out of it's box. haha!

  • *DROOL*

  • BEAST!!!
